We wanted to do a tour of the marina and beyond and were recommended this by our hotel concierge due to the positive reviews and cost compared to other vendors. This met our expectations and we certainly weren't disappointed! The views of the marina, Persian gulf, mainland were excellent. Only slight improvement I would say could be for the tour... More

We were on a family trip and joined the tour for the last day of our stay. The views were amazing and we definitely enjoyed our time. We will repeat the tour, when back to Dubai again.

Booked the catamaran 90 minute cruise, excellent views of the Dubai coast just before sunset. Great view of the Burj Al Aran. Would recommend.

We had visitors and had never done this so it was a good excuse for us to be tourists. It was well organised and lasted the right amount of time about an hour I think but can't remember exactly. The children aged between 9 and 5 (5 of them) did not get bored at all which us always a concern... More

Pleasant cruise along coast and bavk through the marina. Free soft drinks and comfy bean bags to sit on. Lovely traditional boat, annoying radio blasting out was the only thing that could have been improved (turn it off!) otherwise a nice way to spend an hour.

Staying in The Marina

Neighborhood Profile
The Marina
It’s hard to believe that only a decade ago there was no marina. Opened in 2003, the man-made marina runs along a 3km stretch of shoreline. A heady mix of luxurious hotels, apartment buildings, and cafes, the marina hosts regular community events and markets, and is a wonderful place to while away an afternoon or evening. Spectacular at night when the skyscrapers glisten, here you can enjoy dinner on the beach next to the sea, or visit a high-rise bar in a hotel for a magnificent view across the Gulf and the man-made Palm Island, with the world-famous Atlantis Hotel at its end. The Walk at Jumeirah beach Residences is a pedestrianized stretch leading to a new development: The Beach. It’s one of the few places where Gulf nationals mix with tourists and Western ex-pats. It’s a popular place to show off your supercar for an evening, so watch out for Lamborghinis, Maseratis, and Ferraris in abundance.
