My two kids aged 10 and 12 loved it!!! I stayed inside too but it was very safe and well staffed. The kids get 'paid' for working doing different jobs for global companies (ave 15-20 mins) such as DHL, Gulf Air, McDonalds etc then can spend this by purchasing a gift at the end.

Kidzania is extremely educational for young children in gaining a better understanding of the real world. It involved children working for big companies such as DHL and supermarkets.. As a fireman and even doctors, and earning money from which at the end of the day they could buy toys. The staff there are extremely enthusiastic and build an excellent bond... More

Compared with Tokyo's, the one at Dubai Mall is all English and not so crowded so my kids have the opportunity to make quite a bit of "money". They enjoyed themselves a lot but the prizes is are expensive to buy with the currency they earned that they feel that they are better off saving them for Kidzania in other... More

Kidzania it is a biggest area for children entertainment. They can be what ever they like dentist, policeman, firefighter etc.. Also it a safe area monitored for parents to keep there children. The toddler also have a nursery and play ground area but should be with adult supervision.

I took my boys and my cousins boys. They had a fab time. The firefighters was the most interesting with singing, joint first place was making pizzas. My oldest son was very excited to get money at the bank and everytime he got paid for an activity, he got even more excited. I would definately recommend.

Our two boys aged 10 and 8, had a fabulous time for a couple of hours at kidzania, they had a go at being delivery ne, pilots, worked in a bank amongst other things. Such an excellent idea, they felt very grown up and responsible going around independently and sharing with us their exploits when they came out, along with... More

KidZania is an amazing place to go to for kids aged 5 years to 11 years, and it gives you an experience of an adult. In KidZania, you can enter a shop and either work there, or play there. For example, if you're going to Waitrose, you can either work as a cashier, or you can shop over there. Also,... More

Staying in Downtown Dubai

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown Dubai
You can’t fail to miss Dubai’s iconic Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building. It towers over the city and resides in the prestigious Downtown development. Once an old army base, Downtown is now the jewel in Dubai’s crown, a beautiful residential and leisure area housing not only the world’s tallest building, but the world’s largest fountains and mall. Wide marble sidewalks are perfect for strolling, with restaurants, art galleries and children’s play areas. Specially commissioned sculptures line the roads and Downtown is often used as a canvas for modern art displays and community events such as Classic Car Shows and National Day parades. In the cooler months, cross one of the many bridges to the Burj Khalifa park and enjoy a picnic alongside residents and visitors, or enjoy a lunch or dinner watch the dancing fountains. Because of its mixed use, Downtown is a fantastic place to mix with Dubai residents and locals and watch real life unfold in a cosmopolitan environment.
