Clean, efficient -- but more expensive than the regular train -- it's a great way to connect with the tram and red train line if you are visiting the Palms. Good overview of the development and beaches as you whizz past.

This monorail connects you with Dubai's public transport and Atlantis Resort, but also offers you a nice view across the Jumeirah Islands. You can see how the current construction is going on. Definitely recommended for sightseers.

This is a good little journey with some great views. If you've bought an all day ticket for the metro, it's valid on the monorail. Bear in mind that it just goes in a straight line as far as the Atlantis hotel and water park and doesn't go round the perimeter of the Palm. Definitely worth it for the views... More

If you want to enjoy the beauty of Palm Jumeira, choose Monorail. Take a Round Trip ticket if you have a car parked near station. Otheriwse, take ticket to Atlantis station and explore the Atlantis area.

The Palm Monorail is a strange Monorail, it only goes from the entrance to the palm train station where you arrive to find nothing more then a car park and if you want to take the alternative land train you have to walk through the car park, down steps across the road to the other end which arrives at the... Monorail is high enough to give you a great view. They are extending the route, very clean, takes you past all the new condos and Palm Island.

There are cheaper ways to get to Atlantis but maybe the expensive fare is to view the Palm Jumeirah Residences and the Atlantis at the end. Best to buy just one way and take a cab to go where you're heading next.
