Top ways to experience VR Park
The area
Neighborhood: Downtown Dubai
You can’t fail to miss Dubai’s iconic Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building. It towers over the city and resides in the prestigious Downtown development. Once an old army base, Downtown is now the jewel in Dubai’s crown, a beautiful residential and leisure area housing not only the world’s tallest building, but the world’s largest fountains and mall. Wide marble sidewalks are perfect for strolling, with restaurants, art galleries and children’s play areas. Specially commissioned sculptures line the roads and Downtown is often used as a canvas for modern art displays and community events such as Classic Car Shows and National Day parades. In the cooler months, cross one of the many bridges to the Burj Khalifa park and enjoy a picnic alongside residents and visitors, or enjoy a lunch or dinner watch the dancing fountains. Because of its mixed use, Downtown is a fantastic place to mix with Dubai residents and locals and watch real life unfold in a cosmopolitan environment.

when the VR park first opened, me and my father went to the VR park multiple times. we loved games such as the raft, walking dead and payday VR. earlier in 2019 they renovated and changed everything. they took away the unlimited pass and only gave us a 7 ride pass and 100 AED of credit for arcade games. they replaced all the vr games with merry go rounds. we could have bought a 10 ride pass but we didn't thank god, but still, we were upset. 200 dirhams for a 7 ride pass is stupid. they screwed it up. the old system was that you could either pick a ride or buy an all-day pass and they moved the pay counters outside so we couldn't see the rides inside and they said it was for health and safety reasons. all in all horrible experience.

The cashier did not orient us much and had us buy the 400 AED tickets. We were 2 adults and there were only 2-3 games that were good for us (200 AED max). We had to play some other kids game just to use the credits we bought.
The rollercoaster game is by far the best, while more graphic improvements is to be expected in the future

This could be so good…but really underwhelmed, don’t waste your money. We went with our 14 and 11 year olds, both of whom were expecting an immersive VR experience…it wasn’t at all. Games are old and VR quality is very poor; it is over-priced; and most disappointingly, the staff were completely disinterested and unengaged. A real shame because with a bit of attention and customer service this could be a lot better.

Hello VR Park! My daughter and i went to Dubai Mall VR Park this morning at 10:00 AM August 20,2020 . A Arabic guy sold me a card worth card for my daughter which is enough for here to enjoy futuristic VR. The price is nice and affordable unlike before. I met Asian costumer service staff to assist me but unfortunately the VR ride is not working so i approach who is the manager and a guy wearing a t-shirt with tattoo on his arm and bald guy came to me. I am asking what time the ride will be available and he told me he don't know... So i went 2nd level to ask to ride for roller coaster and the guy wearing t-shirt with a tattoo in his arm approach me and told that it will open late afternoon. I ask for refund but this guy is very rude to me. He just removed his face mask and speak to me with out social distancing. I heard from the staff that he is the Supervisor. Why is wearing a T-shirt and don't know what time it will be open. Why he didn't refund or give something for my family. This is a very bad attitude not assisting me for what i pay for. If the management will read this i hope you need to train your staff specially your SUPERVISOR.

Absolute waste of money. The amount charged is very high, compared to the quality of the games. It is hypoed as a VR park. only a few rides are virtual reality, and that too, not worth the price. Strongly recommend not going to this place.

We visited a couple of years ago and having had such a good time were very excited to return. Unfortunately, many of the rides were undergoing maintenance so the experience we had was basic at best. I’d recommend you check what is operating before you purchase the credits as I now have a card that is full of credits!

Our kids enjoyed themselves here for a total of 3 hours spread out over 2 days. The VR experiences have something for adults as well as small kids. The VR roller coaster is a lot of fun! We spent most time playing the other games in the arcade and had a blast. If you need to spend an hour or two in the mall while mom is shopping this is a great place to go. Recommended.

We so badly wanted this to be amazing and to be honest it’s not much more than an indoor amusements.
Be careful loading up your card before going in. Have a look around, see what you want to do, then go back to the desk to get a card and load it with credit. The reason I say this is because I have read other reviews whereby money is left on the card and refunds are not available.

Think - Virtual Reality and Reality merged into one experience. How about a VR Drone Ride on a rollercoaster? Or a VR Burj Khalifa Window Washer on a drop lift? Thrilling. I particularly enjoyed the team VR zombie adventure. Venue also includes kids rides and game machines. Little to no seating to monitor your gang while not participating which confused me a bit. For that reason, I'd say it's not super family friendly. Pricey so check online before adding it to your list of activities. Restrooms onsite so you don't have leave the attraction. We had trouble with one ride and attendant was quick to credit our purchase.

Yes there are lots of games for 5 years olds. I highly recommend the Rabbids Vr games, the sphere, and car rides. Enjoy!
Hi there, we are visiting Dubai for a 5 day trip. Could you best advise the best way to get discounts for major attractions? We are travelling with 2 kids aged 11 and 8. Thanks

The best way to make savings on attractions is to download the entertainer- ultimate saving app on your phone and select Dubai as country and you can access vouchers and discounts at many places.
Hope this helps!

Hi we bought one that included unlimited VR rides and included arcade games . Cost about £50 I think and lasts all day/night. Can’t remember how much moneys worth of arcade games but he played quite a lot and really enjoyed it there. Was much better than expected.
