About
The UAE’s latest cultural landmark, Dubai Frame is an iconic structure that ‘frames’ impressive views of Old and New Dubai, while serving as a metaphorical bridge connecting the emirate’s rich past with its magnificent present. Dubai Frame celebrates the story of Dubai from its early establishment to its ambitious plans for future development. Launched in January 2018, the project comprises a 150-metre-high, 95-meter-wide structure being built to resemble a huge picture frame, through which landmarks representing modern Dubai such as Emirates Towers and Burj Khalifa can be seen on one side, while from the other side, visitors can view older parts of the city such as Deira and Karama. Exterior design of Dubai Frame was inspired from the logo of EXPO2020 and it is world's largest picture frame by Guinness World Records. According to Dubai Frame general policy, guests are requested to wear respectful clothing: shoulders and knees to be covered.

This was one of the things I wanted to do during my trip to Dubai and I am definitely glad I did it.

Thankfully I visited mid-morning so that the queues, while long, weren't as long as they were when I left. In fact, I seemed to queue for longer (between waiting to get in, for the lift up and the lift down) than I actually was inside the frame. They should really have expanded the before bit so that there is more to see/read to help break up the long queue to get to the lift. Despite having bought tickets online in advance, you still had to join the queue to get in - perhaps timed tickets might be a better option to allow ticket holders to avoid the queuing outside at least?

The before Dubai [became big] bit was interesting but you felt you had to move on to get in line for the lift to the top. The lift ride up is great and the view from the top was stunning... as well as the view below as you walked over the clear glass! I only stuck my head in briefly to the future part after you came back down in the lift as it didn't look up to much.

The gift shop was very pricey so for once in my life I didn't buy any 'tat'! The blurb said there was a café but I saw nothing unless the 2 stalls up at the top of the frame counted as it (one sold coffee and the other sold doughnuts)? Definitely missed being able to get something refreshing to drink on what was a very hot November day! At least there was a refilling station just beside the gate where I could get my water bottle refilled [for free].

I really love this idea of being able to see new Dubai out one side and old Dubai out of the other side. Only cost around £20 for 2 adults and 1 child (12 years old) to visit and I got to walk over the glass where you can see what's underneath you. I would recommend going at sunset as it's very beautiful because all the lights begin to come on

As you drive past the frame it looks incredibly impressive. As you get closer and closer it’ll the frame is just wow ! We had pre booked our tickets and upon arrival we could walk straight through to the front door to a lady who scanned our tickets.

As you enter you queue up and have your picture taken infront of a green screen and the you take the escalator to the next floor which gives some history around the frame and how it was built.

From there you walk through to the elevator which again shows some history of old Dubai which is very interesting.

Once you are in the elevator you go up to the top floor and when the doors open you have the glass floor in front you you! The guide sets some ground rules and asks you not to run or jump of the glass. The glass floor makes you legs feel wobbly and i asked the guide if I could crawl on and then stand up.

As you look out of the frame on one side (I think the left) you can see old Dubai and on the other side (right) you can see new Dubai! The views are phenomenal.

Dubai Frame offers a different perspective as far as observation decks are concerned. It may not be the highest or the one that offers the best views of the sea, but it is in its own class different. It offers two very contrasting views of the city, on one side the modern skyline of the Sheik Zayed Road alongwith Burj Khalifa, and on the other side you have a peek at the old Dubai with small residential units and views of the old buildings and creek. The views offered are perfect for some picturesque and memorable photos. Not to mention the transparent floor which does require some nerve to walk over. Also the park in which it is located is in itself worth visiting. Overall at its price, Dubai Frame offers a good value for money and definitely worth a visit especially with family or with small children. I would recommend purchasing tickets online to avoid the queues at the ticket booth also avoid purchasing any added tour as the ticket itself covers the cost of the visit and you don't need a guided tour. The best time to visit would be around sunset as this would provide you with views of the sunset and both day and night.

Before arriving in Dubai we purchased some online tickets for the frame at a price of approx. 12 usd per person, since we saw Burj was extremely expensive and we didn't want to waste money and time, so we settled for the frame instead.
The frame is located in a quiet neighborhood, in the middle of a nice park and with lots of skyscrapers and new projects rising around it.
Before going up we enjoy the well-groomed lawn, the flowers and the fountain located in front of the entry.
Inside there are some small exhibitions showing how Dubai was not long ago, how life was back then and so on.
On the top you have a wonderful view of the city, although the shapes on the window spoil the view.
I'm not a fan of heights and walking on the glass Bridge felt strange, but it was a nice experience indeed.
What I wish was that people could keep their masks on, and that someone would enforce that. We didn't completely felt at easy and in 15 mins or so we took the elevator and left.
Overall I am happy we visited this attraction, as it was not overly crowded, came at a fair price and allowed us to spend a good time while enjoying the panorama, but safety is also important...

Dubai Frame is one of the newest acquisition (2018) in the city, located in Zabeel Park, next to the SZR. It has amazing views, from one side you can contemplate the old Dubai and from the other the modern Dubai. It is a good impression of the city. You can also observe the city from the glass looking down, it is a bit scary but is good and nice pictures can be taken.
Tickets are also sold online and are usually cheaper plus you book the perfect timing, I recommend getting some chocolates and strawberry cover with chocolate from Godiva when up there.

The Dubai Frame is really worth going to see! We tied it in with a trip to the Souks, with the frame a short hop on a metro away! The experience itself is very reasonably priced, with this costing around £10-15 per person.

Once inside, there is a glass floor which you can walk on (if you’re feeling brave), as well as glass elevators to get up and down. The views from the top are also amazing, with excellent views of the Burj Khalifa and downtown Dubai.

Bit of advice for some great holiday photos - if you use the footbridge to cross the highway outside the Dubai Frame you can get a great photo of the Burj Khalifa within the frame itself!

It is bot just an observing deck. It is a beautiful magnificent structure that resembles as a bridge connection and framing the old and the new city on both sides. It is really astonishing to have a different views on both sides of the frame. Just be aware that the line is long to get in and you wouldn't spend more than 15 to 20 minutes up there.

We were in two minds as we both are scared of heights but i am so glad we went to the frame. Very well organised, At ticket counter it said 40 minute wait but we were in within 20 mins as the queue moved quickly. I could not stomach the glass floor but lots of people were walking on it and sitting on it taking pictures. The views from the windows are great and after descending there is a lovely park you can sit in for a chill out. There is also dancing water fountains to watch.
Biggest tip is buy your tickets on line first as the queue for tickets was very long but with pre purchasing you just go straight in the gate.

I loved the Dubai Frame. It was not my first visit there. Beautiful views of Old and New Dubai. My first visit was fantastic and I decided to go back and take a friend. Unfortunately this time there where bus loads and bus loads of tourists so was virtually impossible to get the best of this amazing tourist attraction. It was absolute chaos. We stood in the queue for long and approx 5 mins in the frame itself because of the hoards of people. I would recommend that you go on a day that have no tour groups as
This is a must see in Dubai
