It was really great! They picked us up directly on time! We could choose on the morning safari, which time is the best for us! We had an private tour even though we didn’t booked it. We have been 50min. in the desert and we had the chance to ride on a camel. The tour trough the desert was amazing, we had so much fun with our driver!! The only bad thing was that we made a longer stop at a range next to the desert (they had to prepare our car for the desert) which was really ugly. Not really relaxed there but we have been there in total time maybe for 15min. so it was okay! I would book this tour definetly a second time!! Even more for the cheap price!!!

Avoid this company. Booked a sunset desert safari last minute as our preferred operators were full. The tour itself was OK - as you'd expect for a 'budget' operator (we paid 950 AED for a private car for 2 adults and 2 children). After a 45 minute drive in a decent 4x4, the driver did a good job of accommodating our needs during the dune bashing (two passengers prone to car-sickness and 3 year old). It was fun to spend some time (not rushed) in the dunes although you could see pylons from where we were so not quite the 'out in the desert' feeling we might have liked. On arrival at the camp, the company handed us over to a host who encouraged us to upgrade to table service (and raised sofa seating) which we declined (no regrets). Then we were left to our own devices along with hundreds of others - there was henna painting (small hand design free for girls only, bigger one at a cost), 'dressing up' (only adult sizes and very few/shabby) and camel riding (short ride which we rushed into and instantly regretted, being unsure of the welfare of the camels). While doing all this we forgot to look at the sunset! We also forgot to ask for sand boarding which we were promised at booking but was never mentioned again. Food was eaten in a huge outdoor area with traditional floor cushion seating surrounding a stage where there were three performers who were pretty good (belly dancer, twirling skirt man and fire dancer). Queues for food buffet weren't too bad and food/variety was OK. Overpriced alcohol was available (40 AED for a white wine from a tapped bag). If you don't mind huge groups of tourists the camp experience wasn't bad. Afterwards we were told our car had broken down (while parked in the car park) and we we would have to share a car with another family. We said that was fine assuming we would receive a partial refund since we paid extra for a private car and the manager(?) refused, saying it wasn't their fault the car had broken down. Eventually we got a token 50 AED (but also found out we had paid 150 AED more than the other family for the private car...). When we got in, it would have been max capacity with all the children having to sit on parents knees (including 7 year old) which wasn't acceptable to either family who had brought car seats. Although they said we would have to wait an hour for a replacement car, they borrowed one (cracked windscreen) and took us back. After we got home we realised our daughter had left her (new Christmas present) video watch in the shared car - we emailed twice, got no response, telephoned (got through after many attempts) and got a promise of a reply - none received.

Took this Arabian Line desert Safari with family on 3rd Jan. Such a miserable experience. The driver was friendly. We hoped the Safari would be exciting. The dune bashing was pretty decent. The service at the camp and BBQ dinner was terrible for the high price. The service is below average except the dune bashing and unlimited water and soft drinks. Will never come back or will recommend this service provider to anyone. The experience at the camp was pathetic. Waste of money.

Mum and I had a wonderful morning adventure with this Tour guide that took us on a dune bashing and camel ride trip in the desert. We got a lot of information about the desert and and the tour guide spoke very good English. The service and experience was great. we got enough bottles of water to keep the hydration levels good. (It was a hot day) We did have much fun. Thank you.
