Oh my oh my.... one of those places with not much consideration put when it was design. Anything you may want to do there is banned. No dogs, no scooters, no bikes, no games, no places to sit, no place to drink or eat, no shade.... you can walk or run, which would be ok but only if you have your head turned towards the sea. If you are looking other direction there is a very average road and random selection of buildings. The Palm in its full randomness and bad urban planning.

I moved here recently and I haven’t seen one single person on the boardwalk. No wonder. Nothing is allowed there, no skating, no cycling, no promenading with your pet.. nothing. All you can do is walk through and endless empty path.

Very nice for running or taking a stroll. We drove down to this area around 4pm and decided to do a 5km run. It was really pleasant with nice views of the ocean on one side and the fancy hotels on the other. You’ll likely also spot yachts passing by, people on speed boats and the like. There is no shade or places to sit however so if you’re going I’d do in the morning or at sunset to avoid the heat which could make it unpleasant. I do wish there were benches and maybe a food truck or two around to make it a bit more vibey. But overall, a good experience.

It was a pleasant surprise to meet with this board walk during my last visit to Palm Jumeirah. Definitely, it upgraded my Gulf side experience on the outermost tip of those series of Islands.
Quite refreshing.

PROS
* Scenic and spectacular
* Wide-open and amazing
* Tremendous views of the Arabian Sea on this side and of Dubai on that side
* Great for walking
* Bicycles are not permitted, nor anything motorized
CONS
* Parking sometimes is by pay- confusing system
* No shade nor trees nor benches nor chairs
* Underutilized potential as a recreational tourist attraction
"I VISITED THIS PLACE"...
... as part of my interest in seeing and experiencing as much of Palm Jumeirah as I could, and this was certainly part of that. I enjoyed walking on the boardwalk of both fronds. The sights are very good (see my photos).
ADVICES
Yes- you definitely should do this and experience it and see the boardwalk and walk there and see the scenery and the rocks abutting the sea.

We visit this place right after sunset and were able to enjoy walk infront of Atlantis hotel. It is magnificent, as Panama channel.

We started the walk from Atlantis and made it up to Kempinski hotel. The view to the sea is nice but that’s it! ... on the left side was just construction work and dust!!! No benches to sit, no toilets, very few pedestrian crossings. Would recommend only if you have nothing else to do.

A visit to the Palm Jumeirah itself is a must if you are in Dubai, the largest man-made island. The Boardwalk is an 11-kilometre walkway stretching across the outer crescent of The Palm. Its fantastic to take a walk on the Broadway, you have excellent view of the Atlantis on one side and the Dubai skyline across the sea on the other side. On a clear day you can watch both Burj Al Arab and Burj Khalifa.
There are few food trucks also on this Broadwalk opposite to the Atlantis, where you can check your taste buds.

Buongiorno a tutti
Volevo chiedere se il tram porta direttamente alla passeggiata e se ci sono spiagge pubbliche. Esiste un posto su cui salire x vedere la palma dal alto.
Grazie a tutti

Where did all the lovely street food stands and other attractions disappear to on The Palm boardwalk? The whole thing has gone....
Written April 6, 2018
I only saw two food trucks serving burgers and fish n chips. I guess those were the only options present at that time
