Went to DragonMart a few times, and it is a bit overrated! The mall is huge but can be very repetitive. If you have something specific in mind it may be worth a visit, but overall cheap quality. The plus side is that you can negotiate prices here which is unique in Dubai!

Regarding the old mart (dragon mart 1) if you have something specific in mind you need to buy, then expect to spend a long time hovering around to find it. Prices vary depending on the location of each store, sometimes they levitate or fall to 200 percent or more, so be patient on your search. Other than the instability of... More

Dragon Mart is a weekend flea market on steroids and made permanent. You can easily get lost in the maze of shops selling anything from computer components to custom curtains to pressure washers. I needed a new power supply for my desktop and was recommended to try Dragon Mart. It took some patience and going between a few shops, but... More

This place is humoungous and there is quite a bit of walking involved. They have a food court with many selections. They have items from cheap electronics, clothes, furniture, tools, toys and so on. Out of the way but well worth a visit.

The Mall is huge and a lot of varieties to shop from. But it's sheer size becomes a problem for the shoppers as the taxi & bus stand is only at the entrance. This leads you to walk all the way up to your shopping point & back to the entrance to just catch the taxi back. And mind you... More

Lot of recommendation from our friends we planned to visit the so called Dragon Mall, Dubai. If you travelling with kids please make sure you carry Staller. After a long excursion in Dubai your feet will answer you. The stuff there is pure Chinese cheap quality and we thought it is just waste of time. The new building has good... More

A great place to pick up a bargain, make sure you barter as you do not pay the prices they ask. Some tat but you can buy anything here. Some nice coffee shops upstairs and air conditioned although in parts not so good. Would definetely come back here again whilst in dubai.

We went on a Friday and Dragonmart was very busy. We parked in the new Multi-story car park by the Dragonmart extension, Dragonmart2, which made the parking much less stressful than on our last visit! Didn't find what we wanted but enjoyed the trip out. Something different to do! Full of life! There is a Geant supermarket in Dragonmart 2... More

Although I'm relatively new to Dubai, I think it's a great place for shopping for inexpensive homewares. If you have a good eye, you can find well made replicas of classic furniture - like the Louis ghost chair (Philippe Starck) in all imaginable colours (I bought one in blue) and very attractive Chinese vases. It's also a wonderful place to... More
