I had booked Monorail tickets online, with the Day pass option.
The journey starts at Gateway Station Palm Jumeraih and ends at Atlantis Aquaventure station. I recommend sitting at the head of the monorail, so you can admire the arrival towards the Atlantis hotel and the end of the Palma. We took a walk inside the famous hotel, where the aquarium, shops, ice cream parlors, bowling...
We then went down to Al Ittihad station, with a beautiful 3km long walk, and then we took some pictures in the Palm West Beach area (full of private clubs to go to the beach). *Curiosity*: a security man on the seafront informed us that the photos were only possible with cellphone, no Reflex or Mirrorless, out of privacy 🤷‍♀️

One of the most iconic landmarks in the world, The Palm is crammed full of hotels and things to do.

Nakheel Mall in the Center of the Palm recently opened and offers great shopping, cinema, food and beverages and entertainment options.

The Pointe is another great destination - offering great views of The Atlantis and the worlds largest sea based fountain show plus loads of great eating options.

West Beach is the third new option with great views over the sea to the Marina and JBR with a few nice restaurant options.

The monorail travels from the base of the Palm to the Atlantis hotel, which has a huge water park next door.

Lots to do and a must visit for any tourist in Dubai.

The Palm Dubai is crammed full of luxurious hotels, residences and leisure experiences.

There is plenty to do for tourists, including a monorail which travels from the base of the Palm to the famous Atlantis Hotel at the far end and also stops at the recently opened Nakheel Mall in the middle of the Palm. Another recent addition is The Pointe, which offers a wide range of eating options, fountain show and great views of the Atlantis.

The Atlantis is an icon of Dubai and boasts a huge aquarium, wide range of top class restaurants and superb water park including an optional dolphin encounter. One can also take a helicipter tour of Dubai from the hotel.

On the huge crescent of the Palm is a wide walkway, which is great for exercise and some fantastic views of the city.

A must visit for any tourist in Dubai for a few days.

The Palm Islands are three artificial islands, Palm Jumeirah, Deira Island and Palm Jebel Ali, on the coast of Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Palm Islands were conceived around the same time as The World, another artificial island project in Dubai.
Hard to have a good view of the island from down

I went with a friend to see this man-made series of islands. It was a beautiful experience.

Adopted route was: take a taxi to the Atlantis enjoying the views from the road; spend time in the area of the Atlantis Hotel, and return via the monorail enjoying a different perspective.

The iconic Palm has added a significant amount of leisure/ entertainment options recently, including:
The Pointe development - full of restaurants, shops and a huge fountain show with a back drop of the Atlantis;
Nakheel Mall which is full of shops and boasts a great food court and access to The View, a 360
degree platform sitting high above The Palm
West Beach, which has a number of licensed venues and beach clubs and great views of Dubai Marina.

In addition to the new items,The Palm is home to countless hotels and restaurants, a monorail which runs from top to bottom and you can also take in various great views by driving, walking or biking around the top end of The Palm.

You could spend days without leaving and not get bored.

This place is really nice to visit. There are many viewpoints that offer great views of the palm shape, and the walkways are quite scenic. We didn’t really do anything over there, just spent some time at the viewpoints. That in itself was a great experience.

An impressive achievement, created by man from zero. Some interesting sights here: The Lost Chambers Aquarium, Atlantis Aquaventure Aquatic Park. There is also a mall, Nakheel.
For a panoramic view, go up to the terrace at The View at The Palm.

We visited this amazing man made palm whilst staying at the JBR Dubai. Once in the palm it’s difficult to see its beauty, other than like the rest of Dubai it’s all new and well kept. The best place to see it is from the air or one of the local high rise buildings. We could easily see it from our hotel roof top terrace.

Catch the Metro to Dubai Marina and change to the Palm mono rail out to the island. You will travel through rows and rows of palatial living as you pass each ‘palm frond’ Avenue. Slowly approaching the far-off Atlantis hotel, across the azure expanse - with its Arabian Arches and spires – stark against the blue horizon; feels like travelling through ancient Egypt in the time of the Pharaohs at their peak of their power, wealth and influence.

This 15 minute ride is nothing short of a buzz and not to be missed!

Make sure you set the whole day aside though, because even that will not be enough to explore the labyrinth of luxury running on the outer rim of the palm Island. A day out here will certainly be swallowed up amidst the plush velvet cushions and lobbies.

Nothing this grand has been dreamed and built since the days of Eiffel and Guadi, off Palaces and Kings. This is the modern day Memphis of Grande, Palatial, luxury and awe inspiring opulence. Travelling out here was the top thing on my partners bucket list for Dubai. We headed out early and as I said, still didn't make it around all there is to see in one day. Before we knew it we were heading to the One & Only Resort on a beautiful sunset for the million dollar ‘ferry’ ride back to the mainland, from the 101 One & Only Palm. (I don’t even think Ferry is the right word for the boat they use here)…

This is a day well spent in Dubai! It is also a place for fine dining of every kind; a world class water park and aquarium; shopping and high tea, all done within the style of desert kings and desert citadel oases’.

Perhaps the nicest thing on the journey out to the Atlantis Palm Resort and Water Park is the fact that H.H. Sheikh bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum is a true visionary in not allowing the ugly New York Style Dubai Trump Skyscraper to foul the capped height of the Palm Island. Hats off to his vision and maintaining it capped at one level height. It is a marvel.

A day out here and you will feel like a millionaire … with plenty happy-snap pictures to share!

TIPS : You will need two to three days to see all there is to see out on the outer rim resorts, its deceptive and much bigger than you imagine. A massive achievement. Make sure you catch the ferry back from 101 One and Only Palm (at Sunset).
