This morning I had the best experience in my life and on a group tour.
I did the half day- Desert Adventure with Quad Biking.
I booked the 7am tour and although I was the only one person to book the tour, the agency did not cancel it.
My guide was precious Mr. Shero.
He was so levely and helpful, full of informations and he tried his best so I have the most fun. I travel a lot around the world for business and this was the best experience and service ever provided.

Granted. This is something tourists do...but whatever...it was amazing. Our tour guide Muhammad picked us up an drove to the desert with us, we had a lot of fun sandboarding, driving quads and for sure driving with a 4X4 up and down the die a. Better than a rollercoaster. Would recommend every time!

Ameer our guide was brilliant with our whole family. When he arrived to pick us up there was no car seat and I had reminded the company 3 times, however he stopped to get us one.
He was calm, had plenty of time for us, no rushing and was brilliant with our kids 2 and 8 yr old.
Glad we went as there are mixed reviews about taking young children to dessert.

This activity was not the experience that was advertised. It was not an ‘adventure’ - it was a slow, stop and start trundle to a point in the desert. We then took a few minutes to look at the desert around us - then we came back.
The biggest problem was having to stop and start constantly because the mix of vehicles in the shared group.. 3 quad bikes were put in front of our dune buggies. These were slow which meant constant slowing down and stopping to wait for them to get up or down dunes. On dunes this made it difficult and dangerous on some occasions because I had to stop half way up. This then resulted in getting bogged down in sand on one occasion.
The provider will claim we asked for an ‘extreme’ ride. We didn’t. We just didn’t want to keep starting and stopping throughout and have a mixed vehicle group that included quad bikes.
Faulty vehicle:
My vehicle kept misfiring and juddering when accelerating up hills. It happened every time the accelerator pedal was pressed.
Lack of water:
A bottle of water was offered at the start. We were not offered water at any point during the one hour journey in the desert. This was too long and not safe.

Greetings, Thank you for sharing your experience here on trip advisor also. We have learnt from this experience to better manage and keep the information clear upfront :-) .
It is sad to see here you writing a review that is completely wrong interpretation of your experience with us :-( . We explained everything to you before the start of the program you had the choice of Not taking the experience at all . You choose to accept the terms of program and took the experience anyway. We accepted your demand of you not being happy with the service and we made a REFUND BACK of upto 50% of the amount.
1 - The Program for Dune Buggy is a Desert Adventure that will need all participants to have minimum skill of driving, hence a sharing group program (the program you choose to book) will always have people that are skilled and not so skilled drivers. We try our best for everyone to have an equal enjoyment of Desert Experience.
2- Our Dune Buggies are 6months old, which means they are almost new. However the machine is an electric machine and can be with mechanical faults. Your responsibility was to inform your guide at the same time and we could have replaced the Dune Buggy for you.
3 - Water, cannot explain this one because water is free. their is not control on how much you want to take. Normally we offer one bottle, going in and one bottle coming back from the desert. If you wanted more water if was free you could have taken as much as possible.
I want to mention this, that we are happy that you wrote here about the experience and we always ask our guests who participate in the desert program with us to write about their experience so for us to better evaluate the standards and the quality of service we serve to our guests :-) .
We Hope to see you again in future :-) . Please do make note of this event at your next booking we will try and accommodate your request in a way you feel the best. We will make sure your interpretation will be a better one for the next trip :-) .

This morning we picked up for an desert safari. Our guide Aamir Baba sent us a whatsapp message that he will arrive within 7 minutes. Very kindly guide and told us a lot during the ride about the country. After a 45 minutes drive we arrived at the location where the ride through the red dunes starts. You are free to ride a camel first. The dunes are beautiful and after 20 minutes thet made a stop for pictures and sandboarding. Aamir made a lot of pictures and he was very creative in making differant poses. The sandboarding was also nice! They drive back to the restaurantpoint where you can also drive a buggy. We didn't do this, it's your one choice.
We had a lovely morning in the dunes and Aamir was a very good and kindly guide.

Amazing experience (Quad ride, Sandboarding and Dinner) with thanks to Nasir who guided perfectly. Our sons and us had an great experience worth every single dirham. The younger kids (7 and 10yrs) were 2nd passengers on the quad with the parents, The older kids (13 and 15) drove by themselvs. A short stop to surf the dune was great fun! The varied BBQ dinner afterwards was tasty and authentic. All in all a recommendable tour, we would do it again.

Being a resident in United Arab Emirates for over two years, been almost everywhere in Dubai. This was the last unseen spot we didn’t visit. Mr Sheru Introduced me to this spot and it was heaven on Earth. His hospitality and the knowledge made our trip the best one. Highly recommended.

We had a fantastic time at the desert adventure. Excursion Point arranged for a 1 hour 30 quad biking session for us as we wanted to quad bike for more than an hour. We were picked up from our hotel by Karnail and his colleague (who’s name I can’t remember unfortunately) who were our very friendly desert safari hosts. We were a group of 8 so were picked up in two cars, big and spacious so was a comfortable hour long ride to the desert. We then had a great time riding the quad bikes with a stop for photos in the middle. Karnail took lots of fantastic photos for us and was a great host throughout. Great experience and would highly recommend.
