The best waterpark ever! Fantastic rides and lazy river/rapids are the best. Make sure you arrive early as the park closes at sunset. If you are staying at atlantis then you get complimentary beach towels. If you dont then they (i think) charge you for...More

If you search the forum you will find many previous threads that address this topic. For older teens and young adults, I'd say Aquaventure might be more suitable than WW.

6 Full Days in Dubai - What Should I add to the list? (9 Replies)
The plan so far… (not in stone just some idea so we can fit it all in) Arrive in Dubai @ midnight Monday 10 /Tuesday 11th Sept.. check into airport hotel. Wake up Tuesday order taxi and head straight to One & Only Royal Mirage for check-in – no plans for this day may just take in hotel and surrounding and relax with coctails at the pool to kick off the honeymoon.. Wednesday booked in for the burj spa package.. plan to have breakfast at our hotel and aim to hit burj by taxi for 10-11am...More

I would say definitely don't miss the Dubai Fountain in the evening. It's fantastic and much better after dark than in daylight. Also, I'd add in a desert safari on one of your free days and a visit to the old part of town around Dubai Creek where taking an abra (water taxi) across the Creek is the best one dirham you can spend in Dubai.

Atlantis Aquaventure Waterpark for non-swimmers (21 Replies)
Was great to know via this forum that there is a splash sale for the Aquaventure. Hence, we were considering visiting the park. But we are worried as we are all non-swimmers - dont even know basic swimming. And height is around 5' 3" to 5' 5" so we read that some places may be as deep as 5'. Given that is it possible to enjoy at the Aquaventure or it would be recommended to skip this given that we dont know swimming.
