Our tour with Heba in Bur Dubai was a truly captivating journey into the city’s history. Heba took us on a stroll through the narrow alleys, small museums, and courtyard houses in the Al Fahidi neighborhood, to the souq and its mosques and temples, and we had some delicious snacks on the way along the creek. She shared her insider knowledge of Dubai’s culture (from architecture to dress, coffee rituals, local names...) with us, and anecdotes from her family's history brought back the atmosphere of Old Dubai. Heba is an amazing guide: competent, kind, and generous! I highly recommend this tour, also to families with younger children – our 5-year old daughter had lots of fun exploring the car-free environment of the old neighborhoods.…

I wanted to have an authentic experience i. Dubai that was off the beaten path of tourist and flash. I was so fortunate to have this perspective changing tour with Heba. She is so gracious, open minded, and knowledgeable. I loved learning about the history of Dubai, culture, and architecture. Heba gave a very engaging tour that encouraged active listening and having all my questions answered no matter how "silly" the question. She also knew all the best places to grab snacks that provided authentic glimpses into the Dubai cultural diversity. If you are coming to Dubai, start with this authentic tour and then go see the touristy attractions. …

This is a truly special opportunity to meet and be guided into scenic sections of Dubai's oldest quarters...where the Emirates began... in the expert, articulate company of a native 'Emirati'. 'Heba', a young woman entrepreneur, is dedicated to sharing her rich historical heritage & culture with visitors seeking to more fully appreciate Dubai, beyond amazing shopping malls and 'sci-fi' skyscrapers. Our tour included a coffee museum, mosque & temple areas, 'souks' filled w/fabrics, spices & gold, and a scenic 'abra' ride across Dubai's Creek. Snacks and refreshments, too! We loved our 3-hr tour. 'Shukran' (thanks) , Heba! :-)…
