- peter p1 contributionLegoland DubaiLegoland Dubai is not a great experience and provides little value for money. Much of the park is a little jaded looking. The price of food is ridiculous, one "magnum" ice cream was the equivalent of 7 euro. On the plus side the staff are friendly. There is an indoor area with displays of many of the buildings in the UAE, unfortunately it is very badly illuminated. Overall there are better ways to spend a day in Dubai.Dear sodapeter, Thank you for taking time to share your review with us! We are sad to know that you were not satisfied with the recent visit to LEGOLAND Dubai Resort. Regarding the F&B prices, please be updated, that prices are bench-marked with our competitors across the UAE. - sherif4 contributionsAverage theme parkIt's average, everything as you would expect, clean, organized, and safe. It's fun for the kids, but it's relatively small, not a lot of rides, also there was one ride that was out of service. The eating options were below average. Tip try the restaurants that are just outside the Legoland park.Dear OnAir1451854919, Thank you for taking time to share your valuable feedback with us. Both Parks are specifically designed for families with kids aged 2 – 12 years old, but we welcome guests of all ages. However, we have carefully selected our rides and attractions to ensure that there is plenty to do for all children. Our park doesn’t only offer rides and attractions, but also nurtures children’s minds to improve them intellectually through the various building experiences we have. We have three restaurants in the park that offer many food options for our guests. 1. The Café offers a great selection of sandwiches, salads, and fruit pots 2. The Knights Table Offers burgers to meet everyone’s tastes, from beef, chicken, fish, and fries. 3. Caesar Pizza & Pasta is a buffet that offers freshly prepared baked pizzas, pasta, and salads which has an offer, each kid eats free with each paying adult. We thank you again for your feedback as we are always looking for ways to improve. We do hope you would consider visiting us again. - AroundTheWorld593Quito, Ecuador5 contributionsIt was very cold, do not chose the waterparkWe went with my little girl, she is 5 and we stay for 1 night, we chose the waterpark as she loves Aquaventure at Atlantis, we didn't enjoy the waterpark at all, the water was waaaaay too cold, I got cold later that evening, affecting our entire trip, we went very sad to Atlantis where we were staying to enjoy the waterpark as the water is temperate. As UAE residents we would like at least to get 3 tickets for the Lego amusement park as we lost our valuable time at the waterpark, and besides the cold water, some kid vomited at the wave pool so we couldn't enjoy it, we wish to go back to the amusement park. The rooms are nice, they should have more Lego amenities but we got only 1 Lego shampoo, sad. Hopefully the team can recover this bad experience by giving letting us visit the amusement park.Dear diegodN6523BG, Thank you for taking time to share your valuable feedback with us. - MeMe H4 contributionsRubbish wouldn’t recommendGetting in at the gate incorrect information was given at the ticket gate whereby my child wasn’t tall enough to ride most rides the guy at the information desk said don’t worry he can ride on minimum of 8 rides which in fact 3 of these rides were closed. Due to the heat it was hard for the children to enjoy and I think valid information regarding heat should be posted on the website and especially if they are to shut rides, overall the staff didn’t interact and play with kids. I have been to different Legoland in different country where they actually interact with kids and get them playing here there was NO joyful or play time environment. Overall very little to do and too much of a brag that kids will receive all sorts, to be honest overall experience was awful and no one excitement to kids and way over priced for what actually is offered. Failed attraction !!!Dear 342memeh, Thank you for taking the time to rate us and we apologize for not meeting your expectations during your visit. Our park is designed to have indoor and outdoor activities so this will help our guests to enjoy the park by doing indoor activities and outdoor activities in a rotational manner. We have been rolling out more indoor activities during peak heat months so that the guests and kids can avoid all the time being outdoors. If you visit our website, our park map will showcase overall attractions that are indoor and outdoor and by age grouping. Regarding the prices, please be informed, that prices are bench-marked with our competitors across the UAE. We have advertised all the ride closure on our official website at operational Update page and at the entrance of the park to avoid any inconvenience on the day of visit. Some rides are closed from noon till 4pm to avoid children touching any “heated metal bars”. Here at LEGOLAND Dubai, your safety is our main priority. During our key events like Easter, Halloween, Christmas and many more, we do extend other free goodies to children. I hope your children participated in ‘STAMP-TASTIC’ activity to get some a cool pop badges and stand a chance to win the main gift by raffle. We do hope to welcome you and your family again at LEGOLAND® Dubai Resort. - Companion60924460110Mumbai, India1 contributionNot so great experience except for Mini land, Mindstorm, SubmarineThe excitement of visiting Legoland Dubai for the first time turned into disappointment when we got to know half of the rides were closed due to the hot weather. We were thinking it would be all closed enclosures but unfortunately it was not except for Mini land and few others. We could not enjoy due to the hot open weather with 50C. We enjoyed Mini land, Mindstorm, Submarine Adventure (staff were really good) rest all were not good. The driving licence print out took more than 30 mins as their printer was not working.Dear Companion60924460110, Thank you for taking time to share your review with us! The reason LEGOLAND Dubai closed a few of the rides such as Kid Power Towers, Rescue Academy, Dragon Apprentice for a few hours was to ensure the safety of our guests due to the high temperature of the lap bars and the reason for closure is mentioned at each ride during the closed time period. The ambient weather plays a big part in the comfort level of our Guests and we have no control over the weather. Merlin will endeavor to ensure that as many rides and attractions as possible are available for use by guests at the attraction. However, Merlin reserves the right, without prior notice, to close and change the program of rides and attractions and/or the attraction's operating hours. Merlin in its absolute discretion reserves the right to close the whole or any part of the Attraction at any time or to restrict the number of persons having access to the attraction. The reason for any closure or restriction provided by this condition may include technical or operational reasons, capacity, inclement weather, special events or to ensure the safety and security of guests or if Merlin considers the circumstances so require. LEGOLAND® Dubai offers a mix of indoor and outdoor attractions perfect for year round visitation. The theme park includes the world’s first indoor, air-conditioned MINILAND at a LEGOLAND® Park featuring interactive LEGO models made from over 20 million LEGO bricks. In addition many of our building experience and rides are in shaded areas. LEGOLAND® Dubai also has plenty of shaded areas to ensure year round enjoyment. - Tamer A11 contributionsDon’t go in the summerIt was a terrible experience. The weather was hot. The carts taking you from and to the entrance were not cooled. And you had to wait and sweat till you were let in with no water coolers around for a drink. Feet burned on the floors and a blue slushy drink made my son sick. It is not suitable for summer operations at all, and I was seriously concerned for my son’s health at some point, because he and I were clearly getting exhausted on the way in and out. Maybe winter would have been better, but be careful in the summer.Dear tamer726, Thank you for taking time to share your valuable feedback with us. - IlanszJerusalem, Israel123 contributionsHorrible for small kidsSmall kids cannot go into many stations (most!!), so not worth bringing them. Most of the staff at the stations are impolite and unpleasant. Every station measures the height again and again (even if at the entrance they write down at the tickets….), and the kids get frustrated and angry.Dear Ilan S, We appreciate the time you took to rate us and leave us feedback. We fully understand your frustration that your child was very disappointed instead of having fun. For that we apologize for the inconvenience that this has caused you and the rest of the family. Be informed that the height restriction applies to all the other parks as well. Visited the park during a weekday. It was completely deserted, all went superquick. Park has some nice features. Nonetheless the entrance fee is simply way too high to justify what you get in return. A dayticket is same as EUROdisney and for the money you get a nice lego building exebition and some cheap rides you can take at any small town fair.

I've been to Legoland a few times, come annually when we visit Dubai.
I paid the usual Dhs 275 but was extremely disappointed that the play areas were closed, some of the rides were closed, the restaurants weren't all open.
In all I found it shameful and unethical that they charge full price and offer half the service.
An ethical company would have warned customers beforehand and would have apologized for COVID limiting some of the attractions.
I'd advice people wait before spending their money at Legoland Dubai.

It was my first time at Legoland Dubai and I was very happy with the cheerful staff as well as the COVID measures taken. All the rides were regularly sanitized making us feel safe. Kids loved the cupcake making; It was my daughter's birthday and they sang for her making our day extra special. Also special mention to Aloysius who was very tolerant with kids & helpful in sparking creativity in them.
I found the Dragon rollercoaster ride the best among the lot. Since it wasn’t crowded, we could go thrice on it without standing in long queues. If it is your first time here, one full day 10am-6pm will be required to cover the entire park at a decent pace. For people looking to combine along with water park, I would strongly recommend planning your time carefully.
In short, this is a fun place for Lego lovers with all activities themed around the colorful Lego bricks, and if you are looking for action with ultimate adrenaline rush, I suggest you try motion gate.

So disappointed. Far too expensive for broken or just for unknown reason closed attractions. Staff is not friendly and very slow: instead of quick desinfectioning rides and working, they were talking and arguing to each other, while people were waiting and waiting... Operator on Duplo Express is an idiot. Sloooow! Kids were crying and he was laughing to them.
My son is exact 105 cm high and some stuff members was pushing his head hardly down in order to deny him a ride. So unfriendly!
Waterpark is even worse. Just 3 slides out of 10 were open. Others closed and lifesaver guard stands 3 meters away has no clue why is closed. But water is running on all. Water for small children is the coldest! Why? Broken heaters? No money for heating? No reason? No clue? No answer?
Bring your own towel, they are trying to sell very expensive. Or rent very expensive + you need to leave ID + money + credit card + your liver!
However try to avoid lego and waterpark!
Bollywood and Motiongate are a bit better and staff does not complicate with height.
Never again for sure!

Hi Peter F,
Thank you for sharing your experience with us! We apologize for not meeting your expectations and recently we had challenges with the weather, hence several closures. As you would have seen in the reviews, we do receive several positive reviews due to our team members so its very unfair to label them “idiot”. The team members work very hard to sanitize the rides from morning till evening, and all this to ensure they create a safe environment for the parents and children. We will review the CCTV to ensure we investigate the matter as you say, “he was laughing at them”. On the height restriction matter, we don’t compromise even for 1cm due to the safety requirements and if something to happens during the ride, we will be held responsible for such negligence. Also, it's to protect the child from going through any unwanted incidents.
Just like any other water parks, towels are for rent and we constantly do benchmarking on pricing across various Theme Parks & Water Parks. I have personally shared your feedback on the water being cold with our maintenance team and we will strive to improve our standards based on your feedbacks. We hope this isolated incidents wont deter you from returning again to LEGOLAND Dubai.
Kind Regards,

Probably the best time we visited Legoland. We had bit of a hick up as I had booked cheaper tickets on klook and staff kept saying they can't help me. When I showed an email from klook they seemed to recognise the QR code. Would have been great if they were familiar with the process of booking by their partners.
Park wasn't too busy but most of the rides were for kids with minimum height of 105 cms. So my two year old only had couple of options. She want too disappointed though as there are couple of good play areas.
My four year old had a great time and staff in the park was very friendly. It's a must visit on your Dubai trip.

Dear mayuresht2014,
Greetings from LEGOLAND Dubai!
Thank you for your valuable feedback. We have taken your feedback into serious consideration and shared with the concern department for internal review.
As mentioned about the Klook, be informed if the tickets purchased through any third party, they have to share the tickets to the guests directly to their email. Barcode mentioned on the first email sent by the code is for the reference for the Klook not for the LEGOLAND Dubai or Dubai Parks and Resorts.
Kindly be informed that our rides have height restriction due to health and safety policy. We at LEGOLAND® Dubai, always ensure that safety comes first to all our guests. Be informed that the height restriction applies to all the other parks as well. That is why we always inform the guest about height restriction before purchase of any tickets as well as we have height restriction leaflets to guide the guests on the rides in the park.
We do have other attractions that require minimum height restriction at LEGOLAND® Dubai theme park that are suitable for our young guests. E.g. Duplo Valley, Sea Port, Duplo Express, Submarine Adventure, LEGO Movie 4D and Nexo Knights 4D, Pharaoh's Revenge, Secret Chambers of Amset-Ra, Build & Test, LEGO Friends Clubhouse, MINILAND, Factory Tour, LEGO MINDSTORM, Builder's Guild and Lost Kingdom Adventure and Boating School.
We have clearly advertised in our official website and at the gate about height restriction that all our parks have height restriction policy.
We do hope to welcome you and your family soon at LEGOLAND Dubai.

What a nice day out - for the whole family - for lego land you require to park at river land, than you walk for 5 minutes, all good no issues. Nice set up for most ages, different lego areas with great activities. `Most famous buildings in the UAE are constructed in Lego =, amazing. Food was good actually, we went for the buffet, options just right and good for kids. We had an offer and went on a Saturday, It was definitely very nice but we would not pay actual price and wait in long queues. next offer we return

The height restrictions in the park is excessive compared to other local facilities. Very little for shorter children and no common sense applied. Children are measured to the millimeter.
We have an annual pass so returned recently with a children much more aware of his surroundings... the day was full of disappointment across both the park and water park where shorter children really have no access to even the smallest of slides and rides. Whilst short my son is very capable and can swim having been in the pool weekly since birth. We stood and watched as parents with nervous children forced their frightened children down water slide bare 2m long and in to water between 20-60cm deep. Where as we had a child desperate to get into the water, begging because at wild wadi, Laguna there’s an area with slide for children UNDER 1.2m... rather than over a certain height. it’s for this reason we will not be getting an annual pass again and that parks generic “ The height restrictions in the park are there to ensure our guests enjoy their day safely and are regulated by the ride manufacturers as well as local authorities.” seems inconsistent with its competitors. For us there was no fun to be had. If ANY common sense could be applied they would have seen that our son was not a risk to himself or other and was beyond capable of all the slides legoland had deemed him too small for. Next years money will be spent at a location more central to Dubai and accommodating of little people

Dear JemmaLewis,
Thank you for taking time to share your valuable feedback with us.
Here at LEGOLAND® Dubai and Water Park, the safety of our guests is our first priority specially for the younger ones. We totally understand your perspective of your child being a good swimmer but we cant compromise on the height restriction given to us by the manufacturers of the rides. As your aware, accidents happen within split seconds and later it becomes an issue for all of us and we will be questioned by the authorities for compromising on the restrictions. In several past reviews, we have mentioned to our respective guests to review our height restrictions that are available on website and at the park entrance. Each park has their own height restrictions due to different manufacturers of the ride, etc so we are unable to comment further on other parks.
Again, we do apologize for the inconvenience caused from the height restrictions and we want to ensure the park is compliant with our safety standards. We do hope to welcome you and your family in the future as we have other rides and play areas within the park and water park for the younger ones that are facing the height restrictions.
Kind Regards,

We have been huge fans of Legoland and Motiongate Dubai holding annual passes since 2017.
Loyal supporters of the parks , bringing guests, spending money in both f&b and retail however
I would like to express my disappointment at the rate renewal for the annual passes without blackout dates at Dubai Parks & Resorts.
As mentioned above holding annual passes since approximately 2017 we will NOT be renewing our passes this time around. We have absolutely loved our times at the park over the years however we cannot justify this ridiculous cost of renewal, furthermore the fact that you do not offer any type of discount to customers such as ourselves who have been loyal to Dubai Parks and Resorts is incredibly insulting.
With the frustrations we have had over the years at Dubai Parks and Resorts with rides being closed, the 'entertainment' being subpar, the customer service lax, we still always enjoyed our family days at the parks as the price we paid was in line with the experience we received. This increase and change in policy is so ludicrous and has left a very sour taste in my mouth after years of supporting the parks.
From speaking to others in the same predicament as ourselves who have also been left flabbergasted by the rate increase I know that I am not alone in this absurd pricing policy.

We took the family to Legoland Dubai (kids 4 YO + 1.5YO) and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience there. We went on a day where the park was not busy and so we enjoyed almost no waiting time for nearly all the rides. The map was clear and it also clearly laid out which rides our 4YO can enjoy (as all of them have minimum height requirement). The facilities were new as they only opened in 2016 and that was a huge plus. We also liked how the Miniland was in the centre of the park and it connects to the different themed sections so even if you are poor with directions, you can easily navigate using Miniland as the central hub. This is our first Legoland experience and we would highly recommend this activity to you and your family.

Hi, so am going on a trip with my friends/school to Legoland Themepark. I just wanted to ask two things:
-> Will we be getting free wifi or do we have to get our own mobile data?
-> Are there any restaurants in Legoland or somewhere else?
Buongiorno, sapete se il parco è aperto.tutto l'anno? Vorrei andare a fine gennaio/inozio febbraio. Grazie

Is it possible to complete both the water park and theme park in one day? What are queues like of a weekday? We are flexible so can go any day.

yes you can complete both parks in one day. i suggest you go for the waterpark early then move to the amusement park in late afternoon. the queues are less even on weekends. enjoy!

Thinning about booking this hotel for family holidays kids will be 3 and 6 would you recommend? Never been to dubai either so don't know what to expect. Is there a beach nearby too? Would you recommend half board / full board? Thank you so much in advance!

Hi! unfortunately I didn’t stay in their hotel, I was just there for the day tour. your kids will definitely enjoy it, I bet you will too. They only have pools and water rides in the park, no beach. You’d have to travel for the beach, they have public and private. You can send an inquiry to Atlantis, they have a water park and beach in their hotel.

No that I remember! The water was warm in the different swimming pools, despite under the water tour to get to the different tubes …. we were frozen 😂 and It was in October! I believe now that the weather has changed in Dubai, it might be cold and the park might also close earlier!
