My wife and I did the tour of Old Dubai. She is a photographer and learned a number of helpful tips. Shukhrat is a wonderful guide and teacher. Very easy going but informative and brought us along at a good pace. We found the whole experience very enjoyable. He then followed up with some stunning photographs that he took of us and the tour and also with some advice on good places around the UAE to visit with our camera. He is top notch, highly recommended.

I took a birthday trip to UAE with my girlfriends. For my birthday, what I wanted more than anything was a photo shoot in the city, except I didn’t know that until I stumbled on Shuga’s Instagram and saw how epic his photos were.
To my surprise he offered photography tours. My girlfriends and I chose the Abu Dhabi Gems where we visited the Louvre, the Grand Mosque and desert rocks. It was truly the most beautiful way to experience Abu Dhabi. Not only did Shuga capture perfect candid shots, he even instructed us girls to be like models, creating raw images that looked like gold before editing.
Shuga was extremely patient with us, and offered great hospitality and snacks. We felt like we had a friend with us who took incredible photographs. His character is golden, he’s very kind. He even edited some cool videos immediately for us with music, that we were able to have before we reached the next stop.
He’s professional and offers plenty of edit options, he listens to what you want and delivers fairly quickly.
You won’t just get the best photographs from your trip, you’ll create memories for a lifetime and a kind guide and friend.

We spent a whole day with Shukhrat doing some amazing photography in Dubai and the Ghost Town of La Madam.
Shukhrat has an amazing eye for great composition and lighting. He took us to some great venues where we could photograph the local culture plus the architecture.
What I was surprised by was that he was actually taking photographs and video of me making images. Receiving those from him was a true bonus!
Anyone coming to UAE with the intent of doing some great photography should definitely get in touch with ShuGa Photography!

I can’t recommend these tours enough, whether you are an amateur or pro photographer. Shukhrat is the consummate professional, knows the areas like a local, and is willing to help you frame each shot, or just let you have at it. I’m an amateur myself (just bought my first entry level DSLR two months ago) and his guidance made my pictures look like something out of a travel guide. He’s great at taking photos of you in action, and also willing to work around your needs. I did the Hidden Gems of Dubai tour, which is great for exploring Old Town Dubai and the souks, and am already looking forward to going back for another. Thanks Shukhrat!

What an incredible day! After painstaking consideration, I settled on the “Mysterious Dubai” Photo Tour (I wanted to do them ALL). Shukhrat and co-owner Edgora picked me up from my hotel right on time and we set out for the dune engulfed ghost town within the Al Madam desert.
Upon arrival, I was immediately enamored by the beauty and mysticism of this town that had been overtaken by beautiful cinnamon colored sand. It was so photogenic! Shukhrat was very helpful and suggestive with camera settings and specific shots and/or perspectives to capture. He’s an incredibly talented photographer that wields his camera with knowledge and finesse, I was very fortunate to be shooting in his company.
Throughout the afternoon we explored, trekked, crouched and climbed in constant search for the perfect composition and light, it was not terribly difficult being in such a beautiful place with a veteran that has a great eye.
Sadly, the sun began to nestle behind the dunes and it was time to venture back to the hotel, pleasantly satiated with the amount of incredible photos I had acquired from an amazing location.
The car ride back to the hotel was filled with laughter and suggestions/guidance for other great photography locations in and around Dubai to visit during the remainder of my stay. Shukhrat sent detailed maps and routes to my phone that proved to be incredibly helpful and rewarding the following days as I continued to explore and photograph Dubai.
Within almost 24 hours, Shukhrat sent me photos of our time spent in Al Madam and they were AMAZING! I don’t know how he does it, but I look much more handsome in his pictures than I actually am...
Good humored, professional, genuine, talented and just downright pleasant company, I highly recommend ANY of the photo tours offered by ShuGa Photography as this was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had!
Huge thanks to Shukhrat, Edgora, Al Madam and the UAE for enhancing my journey to the Middle East.

Yes! The last of the three tours we managed with Shukhrat over our two-week stay in UAE was a family tour to Ghost Town with four kids, including a 2-year-old. An awesome playground, not only for adults, but kids as well! Need I mention we were very happy with our first two fun-packed adventures?
As an instructor, Shukhrat is Professional (capital letter), clear, productive, flexible and easygoing. Не will gladly throw in any extra he can to customize and adjust to your party’s wishes and abilities and maximizes on all he can show and teach you. Shukhrat was a great inspiration to my twelve-year-old son and myself as his students, while my husband came along for the unique and beautiful scenery of the tours.
I can without hesitation say that tours with Shukhrat will surely make the top of your highlights list. We really got the best of all the possible worlds of travel: impressive and creative family photos, impelling instruction and great hands on experience in photography for both adult and child, memorable adventure for the small ones (2, 6, 7 year-olds), in addition to the unusual, exclusive scenery and perspective of the trips Shugaphotography offers. Doing a desert photography tour with Shukhrat was by far the best thing I’ve done in Dubai! It’s absolutely worth it! I had a very specific list of things I wanted to cover off while on this desert tour and Shukhrat made sure we ticked each and every item off the bucket list and more! He knew exactly where to go for the best shots and the best timing/lighting. He really knows his stuff. In addition he’s always happy to help with extra lenses, camera settings or photography tips. He’s just the kind of person you wanna go on a photography tour with, not to mention an all round nice guy to top it off! Using the drone was a highlight, as was visiting the abandoned village. I would highly recommend taking a photography tour with Shukhrat next time you’re stopping over in Dubai. You won’t regret it!

As a solo female traveler, safety is always a primary concern. Shuga immediately puts you at ease, making you feel as if he is a friend you have always known. Polite, funny and knowledgeable, he made the experience fun, and our time together productive selecting optimal sites and times for best light. His photo tips were spot on for angles and settings. The immediate camaraderie is apparent in the fabulous shots he captured creating beautiful lasting memories. Well worth the investment! Thank you for the gorgeous shots, Shuga!

My wife and I visited in nov 2018 and we had an absolutely brilliant time! We signed up for photography but got so much more than we expected.. my wife being a professional photographer and myself just starting out Shuga photography managed to bring out the creativity required to fine tune and cater to both are skill sets! And that’s just the beginning..
Some of the places we visited were certainly off the beaten track. In the end we got a photography tour with a free exclusive inside view to what life in the Dubai is actually about!
Certainly a must do here in Dubai.
