I did not have time to actually go shopping, but saw that many stores had sales. The highlight for me was watching the sunset behind Burj Khalifa from the promenade by the water and the Imagine water show, which was really impressive.

Nah they both are different malls and located at different locations.. Dubai Mall is in the Downtown area, whereas festival city mall is near creek side..

The opening hours are as usual but there is an extended time for which the mall would be open during the night!

There will likely be a laser show with fireworks at the mall. However you will need to get there early in the evening to have dinner and secure a nice spot for the view. Other than this there isn't likely to be anything... More
