PROS
* Big mall- a lot of stores
* Artificial lake attached- for water shows
* Fireworks scheduled nightly: good show
CONS
* From the vantage points along the Intercontinental Hotel, it’s not possible to see and enjoy both the fireworks and the water show
* No other tourist stuff here
“I VISITED THIS PLACE”…
… because the Mrs. Place was eager to the point of desperation to see fireworks, and see then she did.
ADVICES
* From the vantage points along the Intercontinental Hotel, it’s not possible to see and enjoy both the fireworks and the water show
* if you were already there for the fireworks, then go and visit the mall – I hear it’s very nice.

Perfect location when you like to be looked after in a less stressful place. The staff is fantastic and extremely friendly and can’t do enough for you. Including pool bar staff, lifeguards and the front desk staff including Joshua and CM.

The Dubai Festival City Mall has it all--every type of store and eatery seems to be in the huge mall; even different supermarkets. The mall can be accessed directly from the Intercontinental Hotel.
Festival City Imagine program is a nightly sound and light show presented across the lake. It only lasts a few minutes, but is creatively done to nice music. The Festival City Mall is around the lake and sponsors the nightly program.

Hey everyone,
We visited Fontana Circus during this National Day holiday. The Dubai Festival City Mall's Circus Tent is home to Fontana, the region's first travelling water circus.
Fontana is a fun family-friendly event produced by Cirque Du Liban. We went with our friends and their kids, and we all had a great time. The performers put in a lot of effort, and the stunts are top-notch. In two hours, they do a wide range of acts, and we like each of the 20 acts.
The first traveling water show in the Middle East is entering an Aqua that was specifically constructed for it. This engaging spectacle features incredible acrobatics, live entertainment, and aerial thrills. We couldn't help but wonder how much time, effort, talent, and attention each performer put into putting on such a spectacular performance. Fontana offers a variety of presentations, including live shows, breathtaking artwork, amazing effects, and more.
Hurry and start your holiday season at Fontana by booking your tickets as soon as possible to see this renowned performance.
Avoid Missing Out! From December 9 through December 31, the Festive Tickets are available on Platinum List and Hat Entertainment.

Absolutely loved the mall atmosphere here at the weekend. It wasn’t too crowded. They have got some wonderful decorations for UAE National day celebrations. Mall also has Lulu Hypermarket. Cafes and Restaurants. Water show every night. Prayer hall for women is clean. Spacious parking area. Wheelchair accessible.

Winter is around the corner and the vibes are setting, specially Vibes by the bay at festival city mall
Fun activities for the family and a great time to spend outdoors. We will definitely be coming back to try out the food stalls, they were quite tempting.

Navigating your way to this festival city is very difficult and confusing. There are very few signs to guide you to your destination. If you are not going to the mall, then you are bound to get lost especially at night. Very few signs to guide you to parking or you destination. If you are going to IKEA or the Holiday Inn, you can count on getting lost. Devote at least one half our to find you way in or out of the complex. The most confusing place in Dubai. They do not care about helping you with any useful signs, if any. Even their parking spots are not clear about how to get out or where to go.

This mall is huge. Plenty of shops cafes and restaurants which makes it a great place to get out of the heat. Not that busy when we visited which suits me and when we sat for dinner noticed a light and water show outside.
