I went to watch the 4th ODI between Pakistan and England, having watched the Race to Dubai golf at Jumeirah Golf Estates before, so was just a short taxi ride to the stadium. Getting in was pretty straightforward, although I'm not sure it would have been as easy had it been busy. Fortunately the crowd came in over a period... More

This is a great venue for cricket. We went to see the 4th ODI. We bought tickets on the day which was a bit of a drag as the ticket office was half a mile from the stadium. The search at the gate was a bit random, some people getting more attention than others and no real policy on what... More

We went to watch Pakistan v England in the last ODI. Brilliant game to watch, the mostly Pakistani crowd totally made it for us, the constant chanting, clapping, cheering etc was brilliant to be sat amongst. At times the noise was deafening! Good selection of food available - the vegetable pakoras were sublime! They even had a bar which we... More

Went to watch England play cricket against Pakistan with my kids. The taxi driver did not know how to get there and certainly not where the entrance was. There were very few signs and security sent us to the wrong place to get tickets. Eventually found the entrance, but was then directed away to a portakabin in gravel car park... More

Nice modern venue. Good seating. We tried the corporate suites and VIP lounge and were very impressed. catering included, and we were very impressed with the quality and variety - although if you don't like curry your choice of the buffet is more limited. Tea/coffee and soft drinks available all day long. Nice air conditioned room with large TV for... More

Dubai Sports City provides excellent facilities for multiple sports including cricket, rugby, golf, football, tennis, netball and a running track. The Cricket Stadium is the "jewel in the crown" and I have been there regularly including the inaugural game in May 2009 which was a T20 between Pakistan and Australia. I was there again recently for 4 days of the... More

As an attraction, you really need to be pointed with what you go here for, as opposed to just turn up. The facilities are for the most part very good. Fit Republic have an amazing gym, there is a fantastic running track and mini stadium, great cricket venue, all weather courts for netball and tennis. Lots of events are carried... More

We went to watch a fantastic artist at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium at Sport City... I won't give the artists name as this is not a review of them but of the poor stadium facilities and event management / event organisation. When trying to buy tickets several websites quoted "Sold Out" allowing me to only buy tickets up in... More
