We were initially booked on the sunset cruise at 5:30PM, but due to so much traffic and trying to reach on time, it looks like the cruise left. Because of that we were on the line trying to get a hold of someone and the good news in this regard is that they spoke to the manager of this cruise and the manager later agreed to put us on the 8PM cruise, meaning we did not lose any money.
Upon entering the cruise, very stylish and had lots of tables and seats. There was a buffet dinner service, which had a lot of continental variety (Asian, American, Indian, European, etc). We mainly went for the penne pasta, vegetable fried rice, and some roti, and naan with hummus, all of which were great.
Lots of photo opportunities and also more than the music, there was a Middle Eastern music and dance on the cruise, which you could see both during the time the lights were on and when off, glowing colors, which we enjoyed.
The boat takes you around Dubai Marina, and later towards Jumeirah Beach and turns back after Dubai Eye. The ride was great with numerous night lights and skyline views. Overall had a great time on it. I recommend trying this out the first time you visit Dubai.
