The Armenian community played an important role in Isfahan over a given period of time and being able to visit such an impressive Cathedral is imperative. The frescoes on the walls are worth being thoroughly looked at.

as it is a christian building though the design and architecture is completely different from other building in city. paintings are marvelous and there is a small museum next to main hall.

yes a cathedral in the middle of isfahan. it is located in the christian area called Jolfa. lots of coffee shops and restaurants and shops in this historical area.

Good to remember and understand that other religions have existed in the Middle East for 2000 years. The cathedral has some lovely paintings and is well worth a visit
