    We recommend Maryams Cooking Classes
Maryam is wonderful and the dishes we cooked together leaded us into the world of oriental aromas and spices. We cooked four vegetarian dishes and one dessert: delicious! Maryam handed out the recipes and answered every question we had. Truly a 100% recommendation if you like cooking.

    Superb cooking class
I love persian food and Maryam let me know the process of cooking persian dishes. Maryam is very skilled in cooking. We cooked in a cozy kitchen and then had lunch together in a small beautiful yard. Maryam family showed me great hospitality. It's been a lovely afternoon in Isfahan.

A Beautiful Cooking Class in Isfahan
A beautiful insight in the daily life of Isfahan. We first made a market walk and shopping together, then we prepared five dishes and ate everything. Very delicious and fun and informative too. The best meal we have had in Isfahan. Highly recommended.

Anar guesthouse is wonderful, cosy, family minded, fun and relaxed place with garden to hang out ánd a beautiful cooking class from power woman Maryam.
We’ve had such chill and fun days here after a good breakfast under the grapevine. So much joy in elegant Esphahan. Myriam had all these good advises and tips for the town. Walk the town, I would say, the traffic doesn’t go much faster.
Since I have an Iranian partner I finally learned more about the Iranian kitchen and the most important herb from this country: saffran.
Go there, sleep under the pomme granate tree and cook with people from all over the world.
We loved it.

Simply wonderful. Friends and I stayed at Maryam's guesthouse for 2 nights and I wish we could have stayed longer. Cozy rooms, a beautiful courtyard, delicious a delicious Iranian breakfast and, most importantly, Maryam and her family made our time at Anar's guesthouse an unforgettable experience. Thanks for everything and hope to be back soon!

Had an amazing time cooking 5 Iranian dishes at Maryam's home. If you enjoy spending time creating a true feast for the belly, come! You'll learn a lot from Maryam about some tips and tricks on playing with saffron, eggplants and various meats... and the best part? - you get to eat all those dishes at the end of the day in a cool inside garden.

We had a wonderful evening with Maryam and her daughter. Maryam taught us how to cook four iranian main dishes and one dessert. We are really looking forward to try these recipes at home. What a great souvenir. Thank you both for your kind introduction to the iranian cuisine!

I was actually lucky to be a guest of the family and I enjoyed Maryam's food so much! I think its a great idea that she made it available to the guest visiting the city:
to be able to actually learn themselves how to prepare those delicious dishes you get only in certain areas of Iran!
Maryam teaches with passion and dedication: go for it and enjoy meeting also others doing the course.

The evening with Maryam was very much entertaining. After her husband picked us up at our hotel (thanks again for that!) we went shopping with Maryam at a nearby supermarket. We really liked to very authentic atmosphere at her place - just cooking in a strangers home with great guidance. In total we prepared about 3 different, super tasty dishes. Would totally recommend it! Thanks Maryam!!! Warm regards from Germany, Marcel

Before having the cooking class with Maryan we were already tired of Iranian cuisine thinking that it was only about kebab & rice as most of the restaurant propose.
Thanks to Maryan we discovered the real cuisine, made of simple ingredients, but finely cooked.
It was not only about cooking together but also learning about iranian way of live.
Cooking with Maryan was certainly a highlight of our trip in Iran.
