A very old well known shopping market in Jeddah with variety of shops mainly for men's clothing, ladies gold wear, watches, mobiles and leather bags as well as a supermarket in a very helpful and frendly atmosphere. Has a nice roof top car park and praying mosque

Ladies beauty center! Please beware of the real time and cost!

I had visited the parlor recently and I must share this unhappy experience to caution others for the time it takes for few treatments. I was tempted to go for a straightening treatment as it appeared affordable but was not explained about the hidden costs in the consecutive treatment or the serum to be got after that. It was rush to get me into the seat before prior briefings. I had to spend nearly three hours while I was told that It would be just an hour before the start. I had my friend waiting for me all along and family outside. on the top of it, my hairdresser has rushed into a second phase washing before the usual time since I asked her about the time lag. I completely understand that every hair type is different and it would take accordingly but all I expected was a honest analysis as I was physically present. If she had looked at my hair and told me the right timings I wouldn't have made my friends and family wait behind. They also had to rush the procedure as I told them I was running late and I'm not sure if my hair texture is good or could cause damage because of this entire process. On the whole I didn't find them being empathetic for my long waiting hours nor offer a proper discount.

Jeddah intl market is the best place to meet ur community and to buy your household requirements really good for a Filipinos. The shops and prices are very competitive. Theres a lot of restaurants and electronic stores and fashion shops and jewellery shops. Its really a one stop shop and that theres a huge area for parking.
Excellent.

The Market
Jul 2017 • Solo
At one time this was a good market. It's old but not historic. It has clothing, jewelry shops restaurants and a supermarket. I was expecting much more. My first trip to Jeddah I went to a very good shopping mall. The town has charged very much in 30 years.

Come here for the 1980s days
May 2017 • Friends
This is one the market that kept original fittings and decorations for decades..

The same since 1980.. hardly any change.. started as the first luxurious indoor and Air-conditioned mall in jeddah..

The mall have 5 gates.. 2 east 2 north and 1 west.

This became since 1995 the filpino hub.. from veterans to the new arrivals. The supermarkets switched from international to Filipino food place. The management kept in good condition for all this many years.

Don't miss the live turtles at gate 2..

Good to mention they have a very good parking space unlike the new shopping centers.

Bare minimum for grocery shopping

Very poor management and control of premises. People smoke cigarettes freely although smoking is strictly prohibited. The only saving grace is Sarawat supermarket.

Sarawat
Jun 2016 • Family
Jeddah International Market (JIM) doesnt ring a bell but Sarawat does. Sarawat is the supermarket within the mall but somehow the name of the supermarket overwhelmed the official name of the mall.

Despite being an old mall and with the clientele being more for Filipinas, there is certain charm to this mall. I always look forward to visiting JIM with family on Fridays which is the busiest and most happening period of time for this mall. We would shop for groceries at Sarawat, get a haircut, perhaps look for new shoes for the kids at Skechers, gawk at watches and jewelleries on display, etc.

The Sarawat supermarket caters to south east Asian taste in particular Philippines. Goods from that side of the world are aplenty. Even the butchery has special cuts not available at other hypermarkets/supermarkets.
