All in all a great 2 hour cruise along the river. Excellent value for money and the boat has lots of comfortable seating and a great ambience. The only thing I would rate negatively is the fish ceremony. (See photo) The irony of hearing how they are releasing the fish back into the river having saved them from the BBQ and then 5 minutes later coming around with a dead animal on a skewer from the BBQ and having tuna on the menu was just ridiculous and disrespectful :(

Fair priced, the cruise itself was confusing because the boat went away from the sunset instead of in to it. If the boat has gone into we would have seen the full sun set instead of half of it. The mojitos are listed twice on the menu at two different prices, as everything we read everything fully. It was cheaper than paying a guy with a boat to take us (120 000 kip / hour) this cost us 190 000 kip for two people for two hours. Two free drinks, decent seats and two free shots of whisky

This was so much better than expected . When we arrived the boat as already full so instead of cramming us all on one boat they had another one ready to go . Everyone had great seats and there is plenty of room to walk around for that all important photo shot . You just gentle travel around a mile oneway, come back and go a mile the other way . It's all about relaxing . You could maybe find a bar with the same sunset view but for me , being on a boat on the Mekong with a drink in my hand was perfect . And all for £8 , WOW. There is a bar if the 1 included drink is not enough . Maybe , because I was on the second boat , that was the reason the bar was not fully stocked but I will forgive them for not having any gin . The barman needed help understanding what I wanted but the 2 European women who work there were on hand to help. Drinks were reasonably priced . They later came around with skewers of freshly barbecued meat for people to buy , less than £1 each but with no hard sell . My wife had a 20 minute foot massage for £3 Toilets were clean which was a bonus . Getting on and off the boat was a little tricky due to the incline ( or the couple of beers I had), it is a steep hill , so if you have limited mobility then have a look before you buy a ticket . In Summary , CHEAP AND CHEERFUL , I would recommend it .
