This temple has been here since Columbus sailed the ocean blue. It's worth the visit, but good luck getting good pics with all the power lines.

The city of Luang Prabang is very clean, there are no traffic lights and there is virtully very little pollution. The country side is thick dense jungle and the ride on the Mekong River is not to be missed

This temple is located slightly out of the centre of Luang Prabang. I combined it with a visit to the UXO Museum which made it worthwhile. Probably can be missed if you're already sick of temples after seeing the old quarter.

A small temple which is compact to look round. You can tell this has been build within the last 50 years as it is in great condition. The paintwork is beautiful.

One of the many intricately painted monuments around Luang Prabang. The paintwork is very impressive.
