This was closed even though we visited during the opening hours indicated in Lonely Planet. We visited on a Saturday - and I think this museum is open Sunday - Friday. But check. It looked and sounded very interesting!

Due to a misunderstanding with the tuk tuk driver my son and i accidentally got here. Basically a memorial to Kaysone with some artifacts and lots of old black and white pictures with lao labels and poor translations in English. Beautiful building and grounds. Worth...More

Nothing that especial in this place. Tourist can relax to the area because they do have chairs and areas to rest. Its free and clean. There's also a nice toilet at the back which is overlooking the river.
