This is a must after you have watched or participated in the monk's walking meditation. The coffee is unbelievable and the assortment of items on offer at the market will make for interesting photography and conversation. A plastic bag with a twitching tail sticking out?

I love a local market anywhere in the world and with this one I was not disappointed. The smells of the herbs were amazing. Some local delicacies - dead birds, crispy deep fried rats, grubs! Vegetables and fruit looked amazing.

we were there about half past eight and it was just the ordinary local people shopping. I hadn't heard about the monks coming here.
