    Most historical Masjid
Beautiful Masjid with excellent view of Lahore and Minar e Pakistan. The Qila (Lahore fort) and Gurdawara are located in the same precinct. Must visit this Masjid as the mastery of Mughal architecture and design is fully visible.

    Badshahi Mosque
One of the best places to go when you visit Lahore. Pure architectural masterpiece with rich history dating back to 1650s.One of the biggest mosque of Lahore. Located in the centre of Lahore with the views of Minar -e-Pakistan and the fort is really beautiful for the tourists. When I first visited the mosque I was quite mesmerised by the architecture. The huge tomb looks like it's made out of quartz and looks even more beautiful at night. Once I was inside I was surrounded by beautiful red sandstone and beautiful calligraphy. There's few things you should keep in mind while visiting is it sometimes get too rushy but still its worth it. If you visit Lahore you should definitely visit Badshahi mosque!

"A Breathtaking Architectural Marvel along with Vscoapkapp
The Badshahi Mosque in Lahore is an architectural masterpiece that left me in awe. As an avid traveler and photographer, I was immediately captivated by the sheer grandeur and intricate details of this magnificent structure. Upon entering the premises, I was greeted by the imposing red sandstone façade adorned with intricate carvings and calligraphic inscriptions. The massive courtyard, capable of accommodating over 100,000 worshippers, was a testament to the mosque's scale and significance. As I wandered through the complex, I couldn't help but marvel at the exquisite tile work, the intricately carved red sandstone, and the seamless blend of Mughal and Persian architectural styles. The attention to detail in every nook and cranny was simply breathtaking. One of the highlights of my visit was climbing the towering minarets, which offered panoramic views of the mosque and the surrounding city. The experience of standing atop these impressive structures and taking in the sights was truly unforgettable. To capture the beauty of the Badshahi Mosque in all its glory, I relied on the VSCO APK app. This powerful mobile editing tool allowed me to enhance the colors, adjust the exposure, and apply filters that brought out the rich textures and intricate details of the mosque's architecture. The app's user-friendly interface and extensive editing capabilities made it a must-have for any photographer seeking to immortalize the splendor of this iconic landmark. Overall, the Badshahi Mosque is a must-visit for anyone traveling to Lahore. Its sheer size, intricate details, and historical significance make it a true architectural gem. And with the VSCO APK app in hand, capturing the essence of this magnificent structure has never been easier.

This mosque is said to encapsulate the history of the evolution of mosques over a period of a thousand years. It is one of the rarest imposing Aurangzeb constructions and one of the biggest mosques in the world, once it is said to accommodate around 100 000 thousand people. I was taken aback by its monumental door, the huge square patio and naturally the beauty of its prayer rooms. The decorative elements are worth being noted, but mostly the overall atmosphere.

This huge mosque was built by the Emperor Aurangzeb and was apparently completed in 1673 having taken three years to build. As with most structures built at the time it is built of red sandstone.
Badshahi mosque looks like a duplicate of the Jamia mosque in New Delhi which I have been lucky enough to visit. The courtyard is huge and apparently can house 100,000 worshippers. On one side of the courtyard is the tomb first poet laureate of Pakistan Allama Iqbal. Quite accidently we uncovered something interesting. As we were trying to find a way to the top floor, we came across a staircase which led to chambers above the gate of the mosque housing relics attributed to the Holy Prophet of Islam Peace be upon him, His Daughter and His son-in-law.
Regretfully unlike its Delhi counterpart, this mosque does not appear to have been looked after. Clear signs of neglect all round.

Spectacular!! Very well known landmark and you can view other landmarks around it, such as Minar - e - Pakistan and Shahi Fort which is magnificent on its own. Takes you back in time with its name being Badshahi, which reflects how its creation took place in the era of a King.

COVID19: People around wore masks and were taking precautions, so keeping safe distance, you can enjoy your time in the area

Time: to view all surroundings, 3 hours should be sufficient, but if you want more detail then make an afternoon out of it, - totally worth it
