This minaret structure was built near Charing Cross, Mall Road in the memory of the Organization of Islamic Conference held at Lahore in 1974. The minaret stands opposite to the Punjab Provincial Assembly and boasts of the stature Pakistan has among all Islamic countries.

Summit Minar is a monument built in the memory if the first Islamic summit held at Lahore in the seventies. It is located a Charing Cross near the site where the summit was held.

This is a great place to visit. There is even a gallery in the basement. The place where the minar is, has immense importance as punjab assembly, wapda house, shah din manzil, lahore meusem are near. A must visit.
