None of us have been to the gardens of Edens, yet, but we may find the Shalimar Gardens tucked away in between somewhere there. In desperate need of love and care it still sparks as a realm of peace.

You need imagination for this garden...nice stroll with on site toilets and food+drink stands! The fountains were not turned on but still- nice symmetrical designs.

There are few no of places to visit in Lahore city area,so this is an one very good place to visit in Lahore. :) Move in the evening to eliminate the heat :) Good for stay around 1-2 hours.Have a fun.

I visited with family. There is a train which runs the grounds and provides a seat for 50 rupees and takes you through the gardens and to the entrance of the fort. Parking is free, checkpoint for security could do with being a little more...More

Visited the fort and mosque ... then relaxed in the gardens with a coffee at one of the stands. Was lovely to watch the locals wandering the park with their children at sunset ... a tranquil place to come and people watch
