I traveled with the Mad Hatters women's tour of northern Pakistan in October 2021. The tour gave me such a wonderful introduction into Pakistan: a place I was very curious to explore but knew so little about. It was an inspiring glimpse into the food, people, culture, and raw beauty of the country! Aneeqa was an amazing guide. She not only organized everything perfectly, but also made everything a lot of fun and gave us insight into both the local’s and traveler’s perspective of life in Pakistan.

Pakistan was one of my dream destinations but I didn't know where to start since I had not traveled to an international location for over two years. I was a little rusty on planning, especially with the intricacies of logistics during a pandemic. That's why I am SO glad I found Aneeqa / The Mad Hatters. Aneeqa is truly one of the easiest people to work and travel with. She was always prompt with responses when I was inquiring about my trip and her expertise of the areas and local guides and vendors makes logistics a breeze. Through my questions and requests, Aneeqa was flexible and professional through it all! I only had 1 must-do and then left the rest up to her – she did not disappoint and created an experience I won't soon forget. She even accompanied me on the almost two-week excursion, which gave me an extra boost in confidence in traveling around Pakistan. Not only is she always prepared, there were so many people who knew her and would say hello. It was clear that she's a well known and respected tour operator. Highly recommend The Mad Hatters for all your traveling needs through Pakistan. Aneeqa, you are the best and thank you!!

Aneeqa was great. I have booked a tour with her to the north of Pakistan but wanted to go to Peshawar prior the tour.
She took care of the driver- the pick up and the tourguide and the hotel. I think it was not easy finding a hotel for foreigners in Peshawar.
Once we were on the tour it was really good organized and the driver Waqas was very reliable and a safe driver which is important to me.
The accommodation was nicely picked. We stayed with family's in home stays and also in hotels in Islamabad and Lahore.
If people want to support community ladies to make business, please go with Aneeqa. To support her but also ti support the women in the local areas.
People in Pakistan were amazing. Very kind and polite. I am thinking of going back for cherry blossom in spring.
I went in fall and the colors were incredible.
Go and see for yourself :)

We were 3 people visiting Lahore (we’re from Denmark). We choose the Mad Hatters because of their professionale profile - we were not dissapointed!
From the beginning everything was handled smoothly. From the initial planning of the trip the company was very open and flexible, so we were able to arrange a trip in Lahore that would match our wishes.
We went on our trip with Mahnaz and we enjoyed every moment. She is kind, fun, intelligent and has a profound knowledge of Lahore! (And yes, everyone we spoke to from the Mad Hatters were fluent in english - communication was smooth). Our guided tour was fantastic. We loved that it was private and we were able to do things in our own pace.
As foreigners it can be difficult to find the right guide. You want someone who has knowledge and a sense of situation. The Mad Hatters have an international mentality which made it easy to ‘connect’ on several levels.
We loved every part.
We highly recommend the Mad Hatters. We are planning on visiting Pakistan again in some years and we will contact the Mad Hatters again to arrange another trip! :-)

I had an amazing trip with the Mad Hatters women's tour in 2022. The tour promised to be a unique way of experiencing Pakistan with a personal and sustainable touch. I hadn't been to the country for a long time and the tour seemed a great opportunity to get re-introduced to its wonderful people, culture and landscape in a respectful way. My expectations were high - and I have to say it was everything I'd hoped for and more. Aneeqa and Alex are the most wonderful, generous, kind, and accommodating guides who do anything possible to provide a positive and enriching experience for every single one on the tour. I can't wait to go back and do it all again!

By far the best operator in Pakistan. Uncomplicated, honest, transparent and easy to contact. Aneeqa is a very humble woman running this business and she will be of great help organizing your trip through Pakistan. She is well informed with lots of contacts and will be able to set up the best deals for you. In any case I would recommend booking with her! Greatings from Switzerland

Had the most amazing trip with the Mad Hatters Team. Everything was so well organised from the offset, and was a safe, fun and an incredible first introduction into Pakistan. I can’t recommend travelling with Aneeqa enough!

I went on a private 2.5 week trip to Pakistan with my boyfriend using the Mad Hatters tour company. I would absolutely recommend using this female run, local Pakistani tour company if you do choose to visit this beautiful country. Aneeqa was extremely helpful from start to finish and created an itinerary based around our needs. The guide and driver we had were brilliant and we had a wonderful time. Visiting Pakistan alone or without a tour company would be pretty challenging so I highly recommend using the Mad Hatters to arrange your trip. Their prices are also really reasonable. Thank you for an unforgettable trip

Pakistan had been on my list of countries to visit for many years. I don't usually use a travel agent when I travel (116 countries to date) but after hearing about a friend's experience with The Mad Hatters in 2019 I decided to reach out and request a literary. I knew it would be challenging because I wanted a very specific type of travel, wanted to be off the beaten path and things were just opening back up after the 2020 COVID closure. Aneeqa Ali and The Mad Hatter team did a FABULOUS job meeting all my requests and at a VERY reasonable price. I just completed the 32-day tour and I couldn't be happier about my experience.
Having an experienced/knowledgeable person on the ground that can take your calls and texts 24/7 and respond to requests or solve issues is invaluable in a country like Pakistan. Aneeqa responded quickly when we requested a change in itinerary or wanted to add something. She even took calls late at night to help sort out issues at checkpoints as we traversed the mountains. As a foreigner who doesn’t speak any of many local languages of the mountain regions it was reassuring to know I could call someone and have them bridge the language barrier. Her “can do”, the customer-first approach was so refreshing and easy it made the trip carefree which is no small feat in the remote mountains of Pakistan. Her partners and selected local guides were incredible.
My friends and I enjoyed our custom schedule that made our visit to Pakistan a bucket list trip that none of us will ever forget. I HIGHLY recommend Mat Hatters whether you are solo, couple, adventure, nomad, or grouper traveler, Aneeqa can ensure you experience Pakistan in a way you will never forget.
