This is a pretty unique place to visit. It is an old living African tradition that as absurd as it might sound, should never go lost. The Palace is not only living ancient African style but also a very unique fascinating ancient building that preserves the history of the Zinder region. The present Sultan is the 22nd of his family. He is a moral authority that is still very respected by the local population. A must visit for whoever happens to find himself in Zinder.

Beautiful place to visit, albeit not too much open to the public! The guards started by asking for 20,000 CFA, but I got them down to 5,000 CFA!
