I went there with a picture from the past, but the reality was harsh. A lot of the ground area was bare from the velvety green grass cover. No flowers were seen. The only thing there was the tall trees and the palm trees. The Haramlek and Salamlek palaces were not open for public. There were swarms of ladybug near... More

Very beautiful gardens and Gorgeous palaces. King Farouk used to spend the summer in these palaces every summer. There is a nice beach called Ayda. I tried fishing there and I had a successful experience. There is a lot of nice cafe's and bowling center. Montazah gardens are perfect place for biking. I love this place.

Very nice and warm place. King Farouq place is amazing although we couldn't go inside it. Weather in April is cold but the visit is worthy

You have to see this place when in Alexandria. A magnificent palace and the gardens are beautiful. This site overlooks the beautiful Med. The place was undergoing renovation at the time of my visit. Quite a large site and a relaxing place to spend awhile wandering around.

You will have to pay to enter the garden. This is the garden of the castle of King Farouk. You will walk a distance, which is full of greens, trees, flowers (in summer) until you reached the castle. I'm not sure if we could enter the castle. You can also look at the sea. A perfect spot for picnic, photoshoot,... More

The gardens and palace of late kings . Always not crowded and overlooking the Mediterranean with beautiful gardens. Can have a drink in the terrace of Palestine hotel or breakfast there. Also has a lot of restaurants there.
