Me and my wife stayed three days at Helnan Al Montaza (Palestine) .The place is very clean with fantastic view . Staff also are very friendly and dinner in Alexandria restaurant was delicious. Gardens and roads inside Montaza are under development and it should be finished within two months as they informed.

This once beautiful garden is under renovation. The entire garden, not just a section at a time! Everything is covered with a very visible layer of dust. It was supposed to be completed in October 2022. I’m here now and it appears that this project will not be done anytime soon. Getting to our hotel inside the garden is an off road extremely dusty ride. Our driver had to dodge huge machinery. The view from my balcony is dust and machines and the noise created. I’m on the 6th floor and unable to use my balcony due to the dust and petrol smell from the machinery. Verify that this is complete prior to visiting as this is not pretty.

We were looking forward to a visit having read about and seen pictures of the glorious gardens and palace.
Unfortunately when we got there it was totally different. It was a demo / construction site. There was a huge ugly resort dominating the grounds. Most of the trees had been chopped and the gardens were all dug up.
The palace was beautiful, but the sea front corniche facing the sea was again a construction project. It looked liked it was slated as a venue for commercial concerts. Lots of paving. There was even small hotel with villas/ cottages….rampant development!
Very sad… all the original natural beauty and meticulously maintained gardens and grounds were now gone.

This was the first place our guide took us to. The palaces are located at a slight distance and there are pathways to reach them between the gardens. We saw the palaces, the bridge built by the king, his roman style structure where he used to have tea, private beach, etc. Our guide arranged for a golf cart on the way back from the centre of the site to the gate.

Nothing very out of the ordinary at this site though.

Visited it on the end of the day just before our trip back to Cairo. Well, the palace was closed already for visiting. Interesting gardens and quite a history.Built in 1892 and used for summer residence of King Farouk.
Beautiful green gardens for summer relax.

You cannot enter the palace however you can walk around the grounds.

The gardens are lovely and the views with a walk out to the end of the peninsula is very nice. If you have time it is a lovely spot to see.

The greenery everywhere is amazing. Seeing the old palaces after being refurbished is wow. Exploring this gardens & looking to the see from green location is something very rare to be found in Egypt. Montazah is really unique place ❤️

It was recommended by alot of my friends to visit the Montazah Palace, which I will be recommending it to who didn't visit it before.
The palace is a mix between the beauty of nature and the amazing architecture.
A lot of photo sessions can be done there.
Amazing Amazing Amazing.
