Egypt has done a reasonable job preserving Christian history. Saint Mark's Coptic Orthodox Cathedral is certainly part of Egypt's history. And, we were told it's the first church in Egypt. It is a pretty church and if you have time it's worth a stop.

A cathedral full of history of around 2000 years, a very spiritual place, also a centre for the Pope of Alexandria, clergycal school, shepherding institute and many other coptic activities, it's a must when you visit Alexandria
