What a great way to see the rest of Transilvania. We got picked up early by our guide Claudu who has some amazing life stories to tell you. Claudu is very knowledgable about the locations he takes you and Claudu also has a passion for cars so if your a car person Claudu is your man. Our First stop was to Sighisora. The views and scenery on the way are amazing as well as the history of some of the small towns you pass. Once in Sighisora be prepared to walk up a lot of stairs but at the top the views are spectacular. Now for you Dracula fans you can also see the house of where Vlad the impaler was born. Our second stop was Sibiu once again the drive and views are spectacular. Once there you can navigate yourself around easily to all the good spots. I highly recommend climbing over 200 steps to get to the top of the steeple to see a view of the entire city. Book yourself this trip it’s a must

I was in Brasov in October 2018. Brasov Day Trips was very easy to book and Florin was on the other end of communication any time I had a question. I booked a trip to a riding stables. I was picked up at my hotel, brought to the stables and was given a choice if I wanted one or two hours. I didn't know until I was out on the trail. I choose the two hour and when I got back there was no trouble to wait for me. We then headed up and around the skying resort and stopped at a high point to view the hills and Brasov, and then drove through Poiana Brasov and back down to the town. All very pleasant, interesting and the driver was great. He stopped to allow me to photograph a working horse on the road. Definitely so worth this trip. Many thanks to Florin and the driver, which I am sorry to say I can't remember his name, definitely a great asset to the company. I was a solo woman traveller, and I felt very safe and looked after. Well done Florrin and driver. I will be back and will take other trips with this company.

Arranged a tour to Bran Castle and Rasnov Fortress the night before, do appreciate the prompt response of Ivan. However in the morning we were picked up by a taxi driver who speaks some English, not a guided tour we thought we paid for. Works out ok, but would appreciate the honesty up front if he can't arrange a guide.

Dear Allen, I am so affected, about what you wrote, and I consider myself guilty for the inconvenience caused. Special because in the next day I'm was in another tour! Yes, Allen, clients are always right, we always start from this premise, like is obligatory and normal. When try to apologize, it's not professional, because a professional is not allowed to make mistakes, mast to be almost perfect every time! But.. when you work hard, very serious it is not always easy to handle situations, because you may face different unforeseen situations. This is because most of the people are very good and kind, but they can sometimes be misunderstood for no apparent reason. I will give some details, to make me understand, in our situation .. Late in the night, when you called us, at 11:00 pm, urging you apologetically, to help you, to go on the Bran Castle - Rasnov Fortress, and said that we are your last hope. Anyone, in my place, might not even answer the phone, or would have said .. Sorry, we can't help you, you called too late! But, overcoming the inconvenience, after I inform you about my tour from the next day, I asked you to wait, that I will return with a phone call.. Disturbing people, at 11:30 pm, I found available to Mr. Eugen, a former tour guide ONT, Office National of Tourism (who worked in tourism, in the time of communism! .. when English, Yes, was not important .., with 35 years experience, speaker of 3 foreign languages, Russian, German, French, and little English ..), which, yes, during or free time, practice taxi service, because he has a very small pension! This problem, lack of money, was the reason why he agreed to accept your tour, at be late of the night! Whit you permission, just one question, please... Did you wonder how it was possible for a simple driver to give you so much knowledge about the history of the castles you visited?! The fact that in your tour he used a car with which, during his free time he practiced taxi service, did not mean that you did the tour with a taxi driver! Because in you tour not was in his taxi drive service, Allen. This man does not own a car, but he is an experienced person, and his devoted job! However, thank you for visiting our site, for choosing to use our services, for your open opinion, because each opinion means an improvement of our services. We assume that Mr. Eugen used his service car(was a mistake!!), that he was not a very good English speaker, and we will correct these aspects in the future, and unfortunately we will stop to work whit him.. Thank you very much for your appreciation, also for everything you suggest to correct! We will trade very serious everything! Yours sincerely, Florin Ivan

I visited Transylvania the over the Catholic Easter and did a few day trips to explore the region. Firstly I was not looking for a private tour and would have preferred to do a tour with a small group. The operating model generally in Transylvania is private tours where the prices are rather expensive. For me this is not an affordability issue but rather value for money. I travel extensively thus have plenty of experience to draw on. Interestingly I got talking to 3 other people who also visited the castle - in the end on their own as they too felt the cost was too expensive but would have been keen to join up with small tour! I decided to catch bus to Brasnov to reduce costs which was easy enough and this then made the price more reasonable. Having said that what I believed I had arranged was a tour to Bran castle, Rasnov fortress and city tour of town Brasnov. I was driven to the castle and the fortress on the way back but that was it. The gentleman who ran the tour (which was not Florin) was pleasant enough but he had no local knowledge or history of the region, the castle or the fortress. Thus what I got was a driver not a tour which was not my aim as I could have just caught the bus myself to the castle or taken Uber. There was no city tour - not sure if there was some confusion here but my email request was clear. I decided not to pursue with the driver as I assume he would have no knowledge of the sights in town either. Instead I did free walking tour which was brilliant and vastly more cost effective. Florin seems to get good reviews and positive feedback regards his knowledge. It was a shame I did not experience this myself. I understand he is presently unable to drive so may want to confirm who is actually running the tour. On my experience would definitely not recommend

Dear Hellen, Please accept our very sincere apologies. Thank you very much for your opinion, vis-à-vis the work I do, personally. The peculiarity related to your tour, was that the day was the Catholic Easter, and the family, from the wife, is all of the Catholic religion! In Romania the population is very faithful, very religious. Do not participate, together with your family, in the Easter holidays, it is a shame, an offense brought to the whole family! I could not come personally, in your tour, because I stayed with the family !! As any man would have done, the same !! But that doesn't mean I don't work. It is not nice to make such statements !! The guide that came with you is a professional guide, with a very good reputation, nationally, Claudiu calls him, and on our site, but also on other sites, has only very good qualifications. If you were disappointed that I did not come personally to your tour, please once again accept my apologies !! However, I participate in over 90% of the tours that our company does, over 15 years, but there are days, during the year (more so in the summer season), when we have several tours, every day, and, from this cause, sometimes, but very rarely, happens that I cannot come personally to the tours. But in general, I only guide our reservations, because we are a small company, although very old. Depending on the prices you have criticized, there are 2 aspects: 1. Tour to Bran - Rasnov costs 40 euros (the price is visible on the site !!), which, in Lei, Romanian money, means about 200 Lei! In other words, you made a reservation for a tour, on a big holiday, at the same price, as on a normal day, as you paid. 2. You specified that you did not benefit from a trip in the historical area of Brasov. Also in our site is written that walking tour in Brasov start from another 60 euros (https://brasovdaytrips.com/brasov-walking-tour/). How can you say that we refused to take such a tour? If you had requested such a reservation, we would have honored it, with the greatest pleasure! But that would have meant paying another 60 euros, totaling 100 euros, but not only 40 euros, for tour to Bran - Rasnov. If you say it was a confusion, then it was a confusion, because we only knew about the tour you booked, Bran - Rasnov, nothing else! However, if some of our guides are not professionals, you can help us, to correct mistakes, and we'll be delighted to try and improve the services we offer. Also, we guarantee that we will always try to offer quality services, and we will never mistakenly, intentionally !! Thank you for using our services. Yours sincerely,

My friend and I had the most superb 4-castle tour in early August with Florin. Florin was AMAZING - he knew everything and everyone! He managed to help us cut the queues and provided excellent service. He was helpful, friendly and very nice. We really enjoyed talking with him and listening to his stories. He took us to Bran, Rasnov, Peles and Pelisor castle. It was one of our most fun experiences of our Eastern Europe trip. Will definitely book a tour with Florin next time I go back to Romania. I can't recommend him highly enough.
