Accessed from near the beautiful Weavers' Bastion (Bastionul Țesătorilor) on the edge of the old city, one uses a cable-car to get to the summit of this imposing forested hill. Mount Tampa has a fascinating flora and fauna, well described in a small guide-book my...More

Well worth a trip up the hill to the 'Brasov' sign. There was no queue when we visited and it's a short walk from the edit if the cable car to the vista points. If we'd thought about it we probably would have done a...More

Very disappointed in this. Restaurant not there.....only has a bar and outdoor cafe with very limited food on the menu. Price of everything was quite inflated compared to other places in Brasov generally.

You can see entire city's panorama from above. This mountain is used for hiking or to run. Beautiful place, with bears, too under the Sunset. :) So take care.

We visited the Mountain with rope car and go down after having a great view over the city of Braşov. The can also walking up and down or taking the rope car. The price is fair!

I wouldn't say the place is hard to find, the hill itself is highly visible and the entrance at the bottom is well marked. As for the service, it could very well be improved, but you can easily ignore the buzzkill.
