Sibiu is a town reknown for its Germanic architecture noticeable in the Old town, the legacy of the 12th century Saxon settlers. Around the city are the remains of medieval walls and towers including the 13th century Council Tower. The grand Square is surrounded by interesting buildings including the old Guild Houses with "eyes" in the roof. There is a smaller square and the Liars Bridge to visit with its interesting history. Both squares were full of people enjoying the many coffee shops and eating places creating a lovely atmosphere.

Florin is a fabulous guide. We now experienced Romania twice with him for several days: friendly, understands the traveler, very knowledgeable - country, people, history, nature,etc. - flexible, looks out for us, always helpful, responsive and totally reliable.
Florin prepared several options based on our wishes and interests, we agreed on the baseline and progressed from there.

A day packed of history to say the least! Florian is a really cunning guide with a ton of knowledge about history, and he really cares about you having a great experience. The tour is a great way to combine these three places in one day, which is great as Sarmizegetusa Regia is pretty much impossible to reach without a rented car. Would recommend this tour to anyone interested in history!

My wife and I got in touch with Florin and did two days hiking in The Fagaras mountains and two days in the Cindrel mountains. We had a great experience with Florin. He was very knowledgeable about the area as well as the history of the area and also spoke very good English. He also carried a small jar of dog food to share with the sheep dogs we encountered on the upper pastures of the Cindrel mountains. As he explained to us the sheep dogs can sometime be aggressive towards hikers. We felt very secure with Florin and the four days we spent with Florin was the highlight of our three weeks in Romania.

Florin was an awesome guide. We took a one day custom tour of craft locations around Sibiu. We visited stork nests, visited a weaver in Malancrav, had a lovely lunch in Floresti, and visited another weaver and wool processor La Valtori in Lisa. Florin was extremely knowledgeable, personable, and helpful. It was a perfect day!

If you need treatment but can’t afford it in the UK then I would recommend Best Dental Trip without question. Everything about the practice & practitioners here in Sibiu are 1st class. A 10-out-of-10! i had 3 dental implants a sinus lift and 4 crowns crowns with DENTAL CLINIC FROM TRANSYLVANIA .

We book a day trip with Florin (Sibiu and Alba Iulia) and it was worth every penny, because we discovered a side of Transylvania we would have otherwise missed. Florin was very friendly, happy and passionate about his country. Thanks to him I have a much better understanding of Romania’s history. He was so nice, that he even helped us with the transport to the airport, the next day.

We had five tours with Florin and they were all excellent, entertaining, interesting, fun. We had 4 full day tours to Transfagarasan, Corvin Castle, Alba Iulia, Sighishoara, Salt mines and a 2 hour walking tour of Sibiu. The scenery was beautiful. The restaurants he took us to for lunch were all great. I went with my parents and brother and Florin was a brilliant guide. He is very patient and knowledgeable and makes the tours great fun. We learned a lot and enjoyed our time in Romania very much and Florin helped to make it a great experience for us. When we left we felt we were leaving a friend behind.
Thank you Florin for giving us such a wonderful time.

We had just one day in Sibiu. Since we thought that the city had much to offer, but we would not have time to explore it on our own, we contacted Florin on very short notice, who had time for a 2 hour guided tour on a Sunday morning.
We met him at the Piata Mare, he started by summarizing over two millennia of Romania's history in 15 minutes, in a very nice and clear way, something which we really appreciated. We could ask him many questions and he managed to relate the answers to his "story" and go on without any interruption! Great!
During the tour through the city, he told us many facts, stories, legends, anecdotes, etc. about the town and its history, it was not only interesting but he also added some touch of humour :)
And we had the chance to ask him many questions about Romania in general, the culture and the people, the religion, ...
Thanks a lot for this great tour, we would definitely come back for a longer tour through Transylvania with Florin!

Booked with Flo via email. From the beginning he was responsive and accommodating. Flo took us on a tour of the city the night we got in. Then he took us to his favorite restaurant which was amazing. This is a place we never would have found on our own. The tour itself was fantastic. We saw an ice hotel and Bran castle. The day we left Flo took us to an open air market and it was great.
Booking a tour with Flo is a must if you go to Sibiu. He made our trip amazing. He knows a lot about Romania and he is funny and professional.
The prices are more than reasonable. The experience is worth way more than the cost.

Hi Florin & Company and fellow travellers,
My daughter is celebrating her marriage with a Romanian man in Sibiu next August. We will have North American and Romanian family and guests convening there for the weekend to celebrate. We are wondering what the possibilities would be for a guided walking tour of Sibiu or bus tour to Muzeo Astra - or other itinerary that you might recommend to introduce people to the city, surroundings and each other.
We appreciate any advice you might offer...
