Nice pedestrian walk through the center of the city with well preserved Habsburg architecture. This is the city where there are a lot of small windows in the attics that look like "eyes" and this feature can be seen along the street. Lots of nice cafes and shops.

It's a nice street in the center of Sibiu. You can have a nice walk and admire the beautiful buildings and also do some shopping if you want. There are also many restaurants you can choose from. Worth stopping by.

Nice, wide pedestrian street with lots of cafes and restaurants. If you need an exchange office, you can find few of them here. It looks gorgeous in the summer night. Very lively and pleasant, and a bit romantic.

From the Great square of Sibiu a pedestrian street that runs to the Astra park and the hotels on the outskirts of the historical. But this street is much more than a passageway.
So here it is:
- old buildings on both sides of the streets - some several 100 years old.
- pubs, bars and cafes can be found along this strip - that very seldom sees any cars.
- restaurants and eateries - genuine romanian or international menu restaurants can be found as you walk along the street.
- fast food shops and snack booths can be also found here for those on the run - bakeries are also no strangers here.
- shops, souvenir shops and bookstores are also present here.
- hotel and guest houses have their entrances facing this street.
So if you are looking for food, drinks, coffee or a place to spend the night here it is for everybody, if you feel like a little shopping or hunting for souvenirs also here is the place for you.
And if you feel like walking and just wondering around enjoying the tranquility of the place , again I recommend the same - go and check out Nicolae Balcescu street.

This is the premier street of Sibiu and it is a pedestrian only zone. Nice for a stroll with family and kids. There are shops and restaurants and ice cream parlors.
