This is one of the major attraction of the city! It is the biggest church in Varna! 2nd Biggest in the country! The top of the Cathedral has real gold and silver parts. Its a must see attraction in the night!

I liked this old Cathedral. I had to find something to do before the bus departed, and I went in here. It was an excellent choice. Easy access just next to old city center.

Inside is amazing but even there the place seems to be neglected with pieces missing in the roof. It is beautiful although it seems the city could do more to tidy and fix things up a little

the cathedral is arguably Varna's main attraction. It is a beautiful, well-maintained functioning cathedral.

The church is a focal point at the city centre and one of the main touristic attractions. strategically located and few minutes walk away from the sea Garden area. The entrance is free and the spiral staircase is interesting and known for its 133 steps....More

Definitely a must see when you are in Varna. It is a beautiful cathedral. It is close to the city center of Varna (within walking distance). I recommend you visit this cathedral. You are also able to visit the inside as well.

The Orthodox lot do certainly know how to make a church stand out. If you're into pious minimalism, forget it. If you're into walking around, staring at the ceiling frieze, slack-jawed with wonder, then this is your place. Free to enter.

Absolutely beautiful and free to get in. Well worth a visit if you’re in Varna. Lots of wall frescoes and other things to see.
