Primorski Park (which I’m assuming equals this TA listing, because I can’t find any other name for this no matter how hard I try) was a true highlight of my time in Varna. It’s a place with all types of diverse sights and activities: gardens, beaches, dining, fountains, waterfalls, statues, museums, and more. The grounds are massive, and I recommend allocating at least half a day to just wander, if not more.
Do note that if your eyes really dislike graffiti, you may encounter some trouble here. I was certainly surprised at the amount of graffiti sprayed in random places in the park—sometimes on trees, sometimes on rocks out at the beach boardwalks, and other places you might expect to be more natural. It doesn’t detract from the experience too much, but just be aware. Nature is still preserved, but in a perfect world, there wouldn’t be any graffiti.
Despite this, please check out this park! Bring sunscreen, perhaps a bathing suit or two, and a positive attitude! Enjoy!

What a wonderful large park, offering so many different features for everyone, no matter what age. The park is huge, with lots of paths to explore.
The flower displays are very well presented, along with numerous monuments and statues. Plenty to keep kids occupied and plenty of shade under the trees.
Great to have such a wonderful facility in the city centre, right next to the sea front.

the beach side is beautiful. there are nice restaurants and beach clubs, on the other hand you can grab your towel and lie down wherever you choose. the best thing about Varna is, the beaches do not belong to the restaurants or beach clubs, any citizen can enjoy the beach. people are relaxed and seems like enjoying their life.

To explore this park is not the work of an idle moment. There is a dotto tourist train that runs along the seaside road from one end to the other for 2лв each way but you cannot enter the park from the seaside at the northern end so a good deal of walking is still involved.
No charge for entry and there are several bars and eateries along the littoral. A wakeboard area too, with a couple of overhead wire tows.

A must go place in Varna. Relaxing, beautiful, plenty different restaurants and coffee places. Right next to the beach. So can do both combine. The summer theater offers a lot of different activities. Kids playgrounds, open exhibitions, marvelous view and scenery points. Highly recommend.

A rather large and diverse park with many alleys, cafes, restaurants and above all a wonderful view of the Black Sea. Pieces of old architecture can be spotted too. Whether you need something to do for an hour or a whole day without the hustle and bustle of traffic, it is the place to go.

Very disappointing as much needs maintaining. Sea views are disrupted by overgrown trees. Pavements and parapets wonky. My visit was slightly out of season so hopefully works will be completed before the summer. However, gardens are extensive, stretching the full length of the coast.

I fell in love with this place and try to go there as much as possible. It has a beautiful energy, it is good for sports, it is good to take a walk with your kids and dogs, it is good to just go and read a book, it is good to reconnect with nature with so many trees, flowers and the sea view. Irreplaceable. Great job whoever initiative this was! Bravo!

Big monument in the centre of the garden. Lots of restaurants and bars and pop-up food stalls. Children’s amusements throughout. Nice history of the garden including the Olympic story of Bulgaria. Bicycle paths.

Is there car parking? If there is a cost is it easy to use for English with no Bulgaria language? Thanks

There is car parking at the very far end but it's unlikely you would find it
Paying to park is not easy if you don't understand Bulgarian
Often you buy a. Ticket from a shop scratch off the time and put in in the window but you need to know what to ask for
The locals know where to park for free and mostly that will be full
A lot of Bulgarians do speak English so if you do see parking it's likely that just asking someone for help will be ok
But did not see just open car parks near the sea gardens

its free but in the summer the noddy train runs along it
its a nice walk but along one what I do is walk along the sea front way down then turn up in to the sea gardens and walk back to the centre that way
or do it the other way around

Hi, does anyone know if the little train is running around the park at the moment? If so, can you get on at one end and off the other end or is it a round trip? Lastly, does anyone know how much it costs? Thank you.
