See Bulgaria through the eyes of our Belgian guide with our VIP Tour. A perfect day out that takes you to the real countryside of Bulgaria. Pick up from all resorts around Varna. We take you to the unknown city center of Varna as well as the "Stone Forest" a natural rock formation entangled with myths. Afterwards you'll appreciate the craftsmanship from the Roman Mosaics in Devnya and enjoy a lunch at Dom Kasata. During our tour we stop every 15 minutes, so you really can enjoy the beautiful weather and take your time at our stops to discover everything at your own speed. Fantastic & informative day out to Nessebar from Golden Sands with my 12yo son. Picked up on time in a comfortable Mercedes mini bus. A very informative talk with lots of interesting facts on Bulgaria & the Black Sea on route which made the bumpy journey (due to the roads, not the vehicle/driver) much more pleasant. We stopped for a stretch & photo opportunity as we came out of the mountains for a lovely view of Nessebar & Sunny Beach. We didn't join the walking tour of the beautiful Nessebar due to me having a bad hip, opting instead to wander at our own pace. This was not a problem & we met our guide Phillip at pre arranged place & time with no delay. We originally wanted to do the trip on a different day but VIP tours were fully booked so kindly managed to get us on a German based tour with Phillip repeating everything, very professionally & fluidly switching between the 2 languages. I would highly recommend Nessebar & VIP Tours as this was a very well organised day out & will be one of the highlights of our holiday when we look back.

Out tour was great.
Our tour guard Phillip was very friendly and created a good atmosphere.
We were picked up on time and while we were driving, we had the opportunity to stop at a panorama spot to take pictures or walk a little.
We've seen a lot of cool spots while exploring the small town.
After the guides tour ended we had about 2 and a half hour to explor more on our own.
It was a really good trip and I would definitely recommend it.

Amazing Tour! Got familiar with the Bulgarian lifestyle and culture. To guides are extremely helpful and informative. Food is delicious, there‘s an alternative for vegetarians too, only rice though. Nevertheless, I can recommend the tour to everybody.

Although the main dish was only rice for vegetarians, I hope that with the soup, bread and dessert there was enough to leave with a full stomach. Thank you for your review and enjoy your stay in Bulgaria.

On 10/05 we had a lovely tour day with German speaking philipp we had a lovely day from start to finish he went out of his way to explain things he took us to some beautiful places they was interesting lunch was at home with mimi they was all friendly and the food was tasty the tour wasn’t rushed and we enjoyed every minute thank you for a nice day philipp

We visited Nessebar with Mini Van. We enjoyed that Filip (the guide) was talking during the driving to Nessebar with real good Informations. Also great that we had a little Guided tour through the area and then free time to discover some Things by ourself. The journey was ok when you get to understand the driving style in Bulgaria. We also had a little accident with a fellow traveller who was stung by an insect and did not feel Well. All colleagues reacted really great in this unusual Situation.

On 04.07. we had booked this Tour with the german speaking Philipp. It was a nice day Tour. Philipp was attentive and explained patiently. He took us to very beautiful places away from masstourism. Excellent! Lunch was at home with Mimi, a super friendly Bulgarian. We were made to feel very welcome and the food was plentiful and very tasty. There was no rush on the Tour and we were able to see and enjoy everything at our leisure. This Tour is highly recommended. And thanks for the nice Day Philipp!

An excellent tour with lots of facts about Bulgarian/Varna history mixed with facts about today's Bulgarian life in a funny way. Philip is from Belgium but married with a Bulgarian woman. He maybe knows more about Bulgarian history and traditions than some other native Bulgarians. The tour was well planned and we spent not much time in the air-conditioned mini van during the stops. One of the highlights was the lunch break in a traditional Bulgarian family home where we had the opportunity to taste Bulgarian Raki, kebab, a typical soup and homemade lemonade. Everything very yummy.

We had fantastic time with VIP Tour. We took the VIP Tour of Varna countryside, and we were pleasantly surprised by the variety of sights we visited. This tour is jam-packed with information about history of Varna and Bulgaria, but it is also so much fun visiting a local Rakia distillery and having lunch at a family restaurant. We learned a lot about Bulgarian traditions and cuisine (lunch by Mrs. Kasata was excellent!). Our tour guide was friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable. Overall, VIP Tour offers superb service. We highly recommend them and if we happen to be back in Varna, we will definitely book a day-tour with them again.
