We had wondered Plovdiv ourselves during the day and thought we had seen everything but the tour was very informative. Nenko our guide was funny and charismatic and made the evening very enjoyable, would recommend if you have a few hours to spare in Plovdiv.

Yes, there is a free walking tour held everyday at 1400 and meeting place is in the main square. Do remember to wear good walking boots/shoes, as there are plenty of cobble stones and they are rather slippery.
