It’s well worth having a look around this engaging preserved portrayal from the past. It was built in 1872 by one of the first people to have a medical degree in Plovdiv.

In a large and lovely house in the attractive style of the era, living quarters were above the ground floor pharmacy.

Fascinating arrays and collections of colourful drug containers, glassware, microscopes and medical paraphernalia are on display.

Given that the medicines dispensed were often prepared in-house, plants, weighing scales and compounders feature.

Very nice place, included in the full ticket for all sightseeings in the city (instead of buying one by one).
It's bit smaller, but there's nice collection of equipment, making really good atmosphere of a 19th century pharmacy.

Dr Sotir founded it in 1872 and functioned till 1947. Interesting old medical objects, remedies in medicine and also pharmacy jars.

More Interesting for those with a healthcare background.

It's a small place, two stories tall, you can explore it in 15-20 minutes. It's a museum showcasing medical equipment from the 19th century. It can be considered as one choice among the five venues included in the combined ticket

Loved this building, one of many similar n the old town. It appeared to be closed at the time, so I only have the outside to report.

For a med student such as me, pharmacy and medical museums are love at first sight. I passed through this museum very quickly and couldn't do the full tour because I was heading back home in less than an hour, however, what I've seen made me smile.

I passed by this attraction during my walk around Old Town. I looked for its entrance and someone to ask about it.

Unable to find either one, I just took outside pictures and left.
