Artsy neighborhood packed with great restaurants and bars. Terraces cover large patches of the streets, providing something for pretty much every craving. Relatively young crowd, but accessible to all.

Located just a few minutes by walk from the main street in Plovdiv, Kapana is the district of Plovdiv which keeps rising and becoming the most trendy area..
Beautiful, unique part of Old Town, a lot of Restaurant, Bars, cafeterias, arts shops.
Once you get there you would never want to go back.
Plovdiv the European Capital of Culture 2019 . Strongly recommended

I didn't know anything about Kapana until we found ourselves 'lost' in its little lanes.
We were incredibly lucky as there was a cultural event taking place. Stalls everywhere, even at night! Great atmosphere! So exciting to explore!
Live music is available all the time without the awful queues you get, say, here in London. We were standing close to the stage and there was a Macedonian folk group I will never forget! Restaurants are fairly cheap and the food is always fresh and tasty, better than in other European cities we have visited.

The Kapana district was once a bustling market area dealing in goods from all over the world. In its distant past, the whole area burned down. It was rebuilt and still has many arts and crafts businesses as well as many stores, coffee shops, restaurants, and bars. Kapana translates as "the trap" which refers to the confusing street design, making it easy to get lost in. I can attest to the last statement as I got lost in the area my first day in the city.

Kapana is the most lively neighborhoud in Plovdiv. It's fairly new as an area and it attracts mostly young people because of the many restaurants and cafe bars that surround it. It's really cool, colorful with a lot of great graffiti on many buildings that surely enhance your experience. It's very centrally located and it worth a visit or more!

Unique place - a city in the city.Around every corner you can find another restaurant, from every wall you grab graffiti, craft raotilnicts and art shops, people are calm, escaped from the hustle of the big city.
Here are many festivals, there are scenes for appearances and everything is very Bohemian and Bonvivan.
Absolutely required to visit.

Wonderful town centre in Plovdiv that blends from the Old Town to the New Town. There are lots of nice restaurants, cafes, bars, shops. At the weekend there are lots of entertainers.
