The path up is located up one of the side roads behind the bazaar by the Tsar Simeon park. The climb is steep but not too long and manageable for the reasonably fit. The Clock Tower is interesting and the views over the town good including, with decent eyes and a good camera, to Nebet Tepe, the Roman amphitheatre and the Red Army Alyosha monument. Some of the viewing points have unprotected drops so hang on to small children.

Danov hill with clock tower like a minaret from the 16th century. The clock knock on 12 and 24 h every day 12 time. Very good view to the old town of Plovdiv.

I think this had the best viewpoint of the 3 or 4 hills I climbed in Plovdiv. It's easy enough 15 minute stroll from the pedestrianised zone in central Plovdiv.

The hill is near to the center, easy to climb. Great place to view the town. The tower is not open, in poor condition.

We went there by evening - is quite close to the great mosque - 400m - in the middle of a park. A little bit to "climb" but not impossible. The panorama of the city is great

Danov's hill, is a nice place to take a small climb and walk around it. There are a few paths that can lead you to the clock tower on the top of it where you can find a beautiful view of the city

The route to the tower is fun and not hard. There are great views on all directions and great spots to sit and enjoy the view.

Worth walking to the top to see the Clock Tower and the amazing views all around - however slightly off putting to see the graffiti and vandalism - this should be addressed as it is a tourist spot.

The clock tower itself isn't particularly impressive, yet a curious building, which is visible from many different spots in the town itself. Still, do take the effort to climb the hill (it's not a serious one) to get awesome views in many different directions.
