Iconic bridge even though it was rebuilt after the war, it still feels special. Being a tourist spot it will always be busy but you can still appreciate it between the large groups. Great views of the old bridge from the new bridge further down...More

I am not quite sure why people see so much in a bridge, especially one that is not original from the 16th century but had to be rebuild after the war -- but if you do go, know that is totally overrun with day trippers...More

Very cool location. If you go to Mostar you have to visit the bridge. The jumpers are entertaining and it is centrally located to a lot of good restaurants and shopping. Beautiful and peaceful place at a great value.

When the day trippers are here, it's hard to appreciate, but as they leave, if you're spending the night, you can take your time walking across and getting your photos. The stones can be slick if wet and footing is uneven. If you're up for...More

The bridge was world famous, having been built in Roman times. It was destroyed in the bombings in the 1990's war, but declared a world heritage site and restored with UNESCO funding. A bit out of the way but worth the trip to see the...More

Although a good portion of the bridge is not so old, rebuilt after the troubles, it is most wonderful sight. Working your way through the bazaar and onto the polished steps then standing atop watching the bridge jumpers is a most excellent experience. Beware the...More

The Bridge has been sympathetically rebuild to the original specifications, even reproducing the mistakes. It is very beautiful & in a great location for eating & shopping. Do go the the Bridge Museum, up the tower for great views and down the underground passages for...More

This is a beautiful bridge with great history - however, it is crowded and we got a much better view and better photos by walking a few minutes down to the new bridge and looking back.

This is a beautiful replacement of the old bridge which was destroyed just over twenty years ago. Having seen it from both on the waterfront and on the bridge it is lovingly constructed from scratch.

The Old Bridge truly is a remarkably graceful structure despite having originally been build over 400 years ago. Its re-building is quite authentic. Of course, it was not designed for the crush of summer mass tourism. Go as early in the morning as possible and...More
