I booked this trip for my husband and myself last minute while in Mostar for a couple of days. Our guide, Miran, provided the perfect balance of tour information, general conversation, and free time. We had ample time at each location, and Miran did a great job setting us up with information about each site before setting us free to explore. It was truly an unforgettable day, and an amazing way to experience and learn about the region that we would not have been able to do ourselves.

I did the Herzegovina Tour with this agency which I found in town and found them very good and knowledgeable - sadly I can't remember the guides name. This included a trip to Blagaj, Poticeli and of course the Kravice Falls - all beautiful and interesting in their own right with lots of interesting commentary as to the history of these places. Some guided tours are simply a means of getting to places that are not accessible by public transport (at least not all on the same day) but this was much more with good company and good scenery to boot.

My wife and I took this tour with our 10 month old son. We were picked in the morning by DARIO and headed to Blagaj Tekke. Dario gave a lot of insights about the different places we visited which included Pocitelj, Orthodox Monastery and Kravice waterfall.

We actually did two tours with iHouse: The Death of Yugoslavia with Miran and Mostar Shelters with Dario. Both were great and very interesting! Since both tackle historic topics of the recent past, we were afraid that they might overlap, but they don't and in fact go very well together! Our The Death of Yugoslavia tour took us to several places around Mostar that give you a feeling of Yugoslavian times. Super interesting and very atmospheric. We very much enjoyed the narrative Miran developed like a storyteller with different chapters and music being an important part of the tour. Thanks a lot for all the insights and taking us around Mostar.
