Well preserved!

This Cathedral is very important from the historical and religious points of view! The Christianity in Russia did start here! I recommend to read information about this place before you go, unless you lucky to have English speaking guide. Walk around, look from a distance, walk in inside and appreciate inner decorations and ... stop their shop to get something or simply give a small donation to support this Cathedral and continuing work on restoration.

Standing near the sea side, the cathedral is visible from mane parts of the city, situated within a small ancient Greek city with the ruins still visible and easy to access. from the gate is not far and a nice walk through the ruins.

Located by the sea with some stunning views, Chersonesus Cathedral is a must see place in Sevastopol. Take a tour and walk around it as well as you could take a swim after visiting the cathedral itself.

Very nice place to visit

This is a relatively new church but still has the feeling of one of the older, wonderful churches that dot all of Ukraine. The grounds on which it sets are wonderful with ancient ruins and the backdrop of the beautiful sea. Certainly worth the time and effort to visit.
