Breathtaking museum

A very unique museum. A Must see place in Sevastopol. Stunning works of art that show Sevastopol during the Crimean war.

We bought 1 English speaking ticket, and were offered an audio guide for an extra fee. When entering and having asked for an English translator, and were told that's not possible and only way is via an audio guide. Instead, suggestion was to quietly translate by whispering, as to not to disturb the others! Once at the actual panorama, the... More

I visited this a while ago in fact on my first visit to Sevastopol I had a guide and translator this really made the experience much more outstanding and as I watch the locals walk through I recognize the sadness in them such an amazing place and people it made my decision to move to Sevastopol very easy

A painted panorama which shows the siege of Sevastopol during the Crimean war where the British and French troops were repulsed by the Russians. Fascinated to learn about Dasha of Sevastopol (Даша Севастопольская). She was the Russian counterpart to Florence Nightingale. Auto guides tours in various languages available

My favourite place and totally worth going! The quality of the 3D effects and wall murals are breathtaking and the only place I went to that had at least English translation boards.

This is one of the most original short museum visits in the world. Buy a ticket, join a group - the visit takes 30 minutes and for that time you are really transported to the centre of a Bastion under seige with a 360 degree panorama (yes, the name says it!) with all the visuals you can imagine. Excellent value... More

This was one of the most memorable things I have seen. It is amazing in detail and given the chance I would have spent much more time in the panorama. Unfortunately we were on a cruise trip so time was limited. It is the sort of place you could spend time looking at again and again.

It was a boiling hot day & I didn't want to go into a "stuffy museum", so I stayed outside. After a while, I was too hot, so I decided to go inside...WOW, I am so glad that I did.. I have never been in a better descriptive museum than this.. So lifelike, so unlike a "normal museum".. . It... More

Now...this was the first time i actually saw a panorama of this scale. A sight to see and get mesmarised by the detail and beauty of it. It explains the siege if sevastopol in a story as it unfolds and one can actually imagine it happening in front of you.A master piece and wonderfull memory to carry with you.
