It looks as the scaffolding has been up a long time, years. It is not to be ready soon either. Location is famous. Was once centre of bazaar. Now roads circle the place and mosque.

Disappointed to see it covered with scaffolding that appears to have been there for years. Interesting to see the old mosque but not very impressed.

In a modern city trying to rebuild, it's nice to see some beautiful remnants of the past and this mosque is one of the most aesthetically pleasing. Undergoing a lengthy refurbishment but worth having a look regardless as not far from the centre or popular...More

This mosque is obviously very old and looks interesting from the outside, but it is undergoing much-needed repairs so as of this writing it remains off limits for visitors.

Thank goodness the old mosques, like this one, have survived the reckless 'modernization' that has destroyed so much of Prishtina's architectural heritage... Wonderful old buildings still surviving on side streets seem unlikely to get the attention that the Mosques do; and this if very sad.
