Small but interesting free gallery

Free to enter, a small gallery with 2 changing exhibits over 3 spaces. One was some interesting paintings by a local artist, although with no descriptions sadly. The other was a brilliant and moving exhibit of objects from children affected by war in countries including Kosovo. Well worth a quick look.

So Disappointing

Starting with the building, it's not even identified as a gallery. There are a total of six exhibits. The key exhibit actually dances and that was neat. There are videos that tell about a few of the exhibits. Don't go there with high hopes...it will be a let down! There is no tariff to enter.

Small but nice collection of modern art made by young Kosovar artist. Location is ideal in the city center, close to the library.

Best if no expectation

The Art Gallery looks different from road vie to garden view. Best you climb up via the park.
Two floors show whatever is meant to be worth been shown. The Watchman at the entrance is very friendly (one point), the exhibition was for free.
When it comes to pieces shown, you will find a better overview in the galleries spread over the city.
The gallery to me represents the current culture in Kosovo: people do not really care for their culture, country or nature. Waste is everywhere, the motto I have been welcomed with at the airport was „we don‘t care about rules and laws“. So what to expect at an Art Gallery? At least a twinkle in one eye for the look at itself (second point) I got.

Decent, needs better management

The have exhibitions pretty rarely in my opinion, once every month or so, otherwise it's a decent place to visit. Conveniently located in the center, walking distance to just about anything. What I find irritating is that is is open during 9:00-18:00! I guess they are focusing on the unemployed visitors, very inconvenient.

Art camp Kosovo July '17

We had the opportunity to visit this art gallery and there were some contemporary art exhibits there.It was a good show with diversity among various artists.Our group took pics there too and we were well received by the gallery representatives.A nice intro to the art scene in Kosovo.
