Colourful and richly decorated it is one of the highlights of Nis. Not too far off from the pedestrian street it is easily reached.

When walking into the cathedral, look up to the ceiling- simply amazing. It's been recently renovated. The cathedral itself is "eye appealing" and it's a 15 minute walk from King Milan Square. On the outside, there is a large open space with benches. Very nice!

Holy Trinity Cathedral is the main orthodox building in Nis, the most important city in Southern Serbia. In fact, it is the second largest temple in Serbia, only after St. Sava Cathedral in Belgrade. It is nice and you see a lot of beautiful frescos inside. In fact, it has the traditional architecture of orthodox temples with some doms at the upper part.

This church is newly renovated because the original temple is burned to the ground in the 2000's. The temple is from 19 century, to be precise 1878. Visit it's free of charge.

The Holy Trinity Cathedral in Nis is the third biggest cathedral in Serbia (after St Sava and St Marko church in Belgrade).
It was built in 1878., and completely renovated in 2006. after a big fire.
The Cathedral is beautifully decorated, with nice yard where people love to come with their kids and hangout.
Certainly a place that you should visit when you come to Nis. Close to the city center so it is easily reachable on foot orđ if you come by car, you can always find some free parking on the surrounding streets.

This beautiful church is located in the heart of the city centre. The church is quite magnificent and also has a feel like those in Bulgaria. Its the down beauty in the capital. A definite must visit.

It was one of our favorite things to see in Nis. We loved the ceiling of the cathedral, and although it might sound strange, the sky above the building was so incredibly blue both times we passed. Beautiful. It has an interesting story and admission is free. It's definitely worth a visit.
